What a gem! Warm welcome, delicious hot chocolate and cake and wide array of great books... Love this place!
We stopped in just to look at books but we're pleasantly surprised by the charming basement cafe. Delicious food, and teas, definitely have to come back here. Absolutely wonderful!
The café is delightful. We enjoyed coffee and cakes before browsing the bookshop
I was only in TT for ten minutes last evening but it was enough to convince me that it's destined to be a place I hang out on visits to London. The best way to describe the book selection is 'curated' so that there is thematic intelligence at work as you browse. Even on a rushed gape across shelves (I was already late for an event in town when I went in and started chatting and browsing) I could see this bookshop is one of THOSE ones..the ones that will be legend. Didn't even check out the cafe and garden but I'll be back!
Great place to meet for coffee. Wide selection of travel books and always a chance to meet interesting people from around the world. Wonderful almond crunch biscuits from the lake district too.
