We are incredibly proud of our Patron actor Bob Barrett who plays Dr Sacha Levy on BBC Holby City.
Yesterday he was on Good Morning Britain speaking to Lorraine Kelly about how Holby City has provided the NHS with PPE and other equipment to support them during this difficult time.

Students at home with their families have been having fun and using their creativity to enjoy learning activities.
Here are Corey's delicious looking fruit cakes and Jade can be seen here enjoying some painting.

Student Support Assistant, Pedro, has been supporting students in one of our residential houses during the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis.
He said: “We are doing our best to keep things as normal as possible for students. We need to take extra care as our students are so vulnerable but we simply can’t replace the need for staff to provide support and complete care. It is very important for us to be with students and we have been trying to reassure them if they want to talk a...bout things. People are being really positive and the situation has shown how much people can adapt to new situations and challenges.”

We are delighted to share that The Big Fat Friday Night virtual pub quiz last Friday raised over £1,200!
A massive thank you to everybody who took part and to The Big Fat Quiz Company for choosing to fundraise for us. We look forward to being able to invite them to do a live quiz on campus in the future…watch this space!

The coronavirus (COVID-19) is a worry for all of us, and even more so for the parents of our students who are all extremely vulnerable. During this time Treloar’s must stay open to provide vital services to the young people and their families who desperately need our help.
Many of the services and pieces of specialist equipment currently helping our students are not covered by statutory or government funding. Like many other organisations, we will be significantly affected by... a drop in fundraising income during these difficult times.
We rely on the goodwill of our amazing supporters. We are also fully aware of all the difficulties people are dealing with themselves at the moment. However, if you are able to support our work at this time it will make a huge difference for the students and families that we support.

Our School and College remain open as we continue to look after some of our most vulnerable children and young people that rely on us for their education, therapy and 24-hour care.
Our multi-disciplinary teams are also supporting students and families who are at home by providing everything they need to follow their care plans.
We thank all of our staff for their continued dedication.

Our Speech and Language Therapy Team has been supporting our students to understand and talk about Coronavirus and the current situation.

All at Treloar’s had a fabulous day on Wednesday 4 March when Box Tale Soup visited and performed Little Grim Tales to around 100 of our School and College students.
One of our students commented: "The performance was funny and I really enjoyed it. Thank you."

Good Posture means more than just a good wheelchair. Our students here use a variety of pieces of equipment to support their postural needs, such as classroom seating and standing frames.
Therapists have been busy checking these are working as well as can be, so that learning opportunities in the classroom are maximised.

Students have been having a lot of fun this week using props in the #GoodPostureWeek "selfie-station" to show what about their posture is "good", and what makes bad posture, too.

Homes Estate Agents have been very supportive with our young people and are very dedicated in providing successful visits to see them.
Rob Barr from Homes has been completing a series of work with different groups of students here at Treloar's.
He recently came into a college class and did a presentation on different types of homes, including lots of guessing games of how much houses on the market right now cost. The following day the students went to his office to do a obse...rvational visit to meet more members of his team and see what is required in selling a house.
The visits were very successful and we hope to have more sessions like this for other students in the near future.
