Troxy Description
Troxy is a 1930s art deco Grade II listed venue in East London. Originally opened as a luxury cinema, the venue has since been a theatre, bingo hall and now one of London's best venues for a mix of events, from awards ceremonies, to fashion shows, indoor sports, conferences and gala dinners.
Retaining many of the original features, the venue is nothing but unique and even features its own origional Wurlitzer organ- the largest of its kind in Europe.

Today we're down at Ropemaker's Fields for Limefest...with ice cream and pearly queens! Head on down and catch the bandstand until 5pm!
What an incredible Art Deco building. Wonderful atmosphere and great acoustics. Brilliant security and bar staff. Fantastic night!
Went to the Gente de Zona concert it was amazing! Sound, view from the circle, atmosphere, security, deals on nearby parking. The security and staff were also helpful as I have broken leg offering me a change of seat. Only negatives were it was the day after the Arianna concert incident so security was increased (great) but the queue was longer so we missed the first part of the awards. Secondly there wasn't any air conditioning it was so hot I felt sorry for the guys performing under the lights but it only added to the atmosphere.

GENTE DE ZONAAAAAAAAAA ��� OMG!!! What an Amazing concert! And have to thank all the "safety staff" as they were amazing too!! Was very hot inside and even during the concert the staff were Distributing water to the people that were watching the concert! ��� thank you guys! And just one more big thing: Gente de Zona was incredible! Thank you to the band and to Alexander and Randy for making our night the best night ever!! Thank you to the whole team behind the concert too... you did an incredible job!! And now lets just wait for the next GENTE DE ZONA concert! I hope it doesnt take too long for them to come back! ����

A bottle water for £4.00???? C'mon Troxy, there's value for money then there's unnecessary consumer extortion. Change that..!

Great venue and great staff there. The door men are particularly very helpful (not to mention quite some lookers too). But let's keep it professional
Normally at large venues I find security/door staff very abrupt as if u're tryna get some favour or leniency.
But at Troxy it's vastly different.
Well done to the bar staff who are equally so friendly and very quick with their service. Not your usual sloppy bar service that u get at many other big venues.
Really pleased with my visit there, being the first time for me and given that my favourite soca entertainer 'Machel' kept me fully entertained all evening

Most amazing night at shpongle. Mega friendly staff. Even walked me to my night bus and made sure I was safe. Only gave 4 star due to £6 for a pint of lager and silly small smoking area. The staff were amazing and super friendly, maybe if people treat staff as they wish to be treated themselves they are only doing there job etc ���
Saw the Festival of Light! Overall it was okay. There was a good choice in music, I loved the face paints and the variety of shows.
The UV body dip was fun but pointless as the lighting away from the advertised area didn't show it at all. The drinks were ridiculously expensive (sadly as I commuted in from work I didn't have time to pre drink) so I had to limit myself to water and one smirnoff ice.
The set up as I walked though the doors looked amazing but I reckon from all the money you guys knew you were gonna make you could have had a few more lanterns!
I loved the venue and decoration with lights. The shows were pretty good entertainment and the music was was awesome we had a great time but we had to leave early to get trains home so missed everything after 12am 😒But we loved it there and plan to come back next year !
Great venue with polite and friendly security. One thing - stop putting people at unnecessary risk of spiking by insisting that the £3 bottles of water which you sell have the plastic bottle tops removed and have to be left unattended if you want to go to the loo or the smoking area. This is not a safe policy for anyone. And, by the way, £3 is just plain greedy.

I spoke to a few staff who came across very unfriendly. Went to toilets in break and no water to flush toilets or wash hands. Reported it to A member of staff who looked at me and said "are you sure" I was like yes !! The water is not running !!, lovely venue but wish staff had been nicer
Very very hot with everyone waving paper trying to cool down. It really puts you off the show. How can you charge £3 for a bottle of water in that temperature you should be giving it away.

management is the worst in London , rude , super strict , they don’t care about how much u spend , if they don’t like u they don’t let u in,

The worst club I ever got in!
An extremely poorly calibrated (almost mono) sound system, an intelligibility worse than an airport radio, with a very annoying box sound. Often debiting up to 130 decibels ... (a danger to public health!)
Without a single chair, if I sat down somewhere, I was invited out of the club by a security staff in an absolutely tabernal style.
For smokers, a space of 6 square meters is reserved for more than 50 people, after being in a queue for a long time ...
From the balcony to the door ... we are treated like cattle!
After this experience, I will not pay a cent to go to a club in London.
The manager of security inside was horrible she was shouting at everyone to leave, she shouted at her staff, (as a manager myself I think she lacks internal customer service) . She stood and waited for me to finish washing my hands so she could escort me out of the TOILET! And when I came out she was shouting at a group of girls because their friend accidently left her phone on her seat, she asked them "why did she leave her phone?!" Apart from that security manager we had an amazing time. However I think that specific manager belongs in the military not amongst members of the public
Security or bouncers there were all bastards! Will never attend to Troxy for any event ever! Bouncers there thinks they are the kings of the event they are violent and aggressive towards people in the event last weekend. They think they are big guys but instead low life scum bags!!!! No one was allowed to leave the event once ur inside what the fucks that????bad place to go bad bouncers bad all no star not even one star!!!!! You dont deserve any stars at all END OFF!!!
I've been to the Shpongle & Twisted Rec. show.. The event & content were 5 star.. But the security staff is totally embarrassing.. I went out of the place and I didn't know there is no coming back.. The gate security crew were so unpleasant and rude.. After we haven't convinced them to let us in.. and we were about to leave.. 2 low life guards of the staff outside offered to let us in for a bribe.. WHAT A SHAME!!!!!!!
I had the most embarrassing time there yesterday at the Schwarzkopf event. The security was sending us from place to place to try to go for smoking like sheep trapped in the pen. The bouncer at the front door was extremely rude to me and with his finger in my face was threatening to refuse re-entry all because I wanted to go outside to use my electronic cigarette.
His abuse continued whilst I was outside ordering me about and communication with the security on the side door. Fortunately the female member of the security, whom appeared to be in charge, came to my rescue.
It is fair to say that this experience seriously spoiled my night and mood; something that had been planned for weeks and cost me over £1,000 to bring my team of 4 to the event.
Absolute disgrace and I have no intentions to return to the Troxy ever again.
