Great email received this morning;
'I’ve completed 2 weeks of the program so far and going strong :-) Today I’ve checked my diastasis and I’m so happy to say it’s getting better! Before I started I could put almost 2 fingers in (belly button level) but today I wasn’t able to. The connective tissue is getting more and more shallow. Long way ahead but I’m very determined to achieve the goal, I’ve suffered for too long. '

We are often asked how to position the splint correctly, watch this clip if you are having problems!

'The first two weeks were really good. Results wise I've seen a great improvement, my waist reduced from 37 to 34 inches; I no longer feel pregnant and I don't feel my organs moving as I walk :).. I believe the gap has gone from 5 fingers to 3...'

I was reminded of this story today...
Separated ab muscles (diastasis recti) is so much more common than one might think, and there IS something that can be done!!

Charlotte's story and amazing results so far!
'After the birth of my 2 sons, the divarification of my recti muscles was so bad that I was facing specialist cosmetic surgery to tie my muscles back together (the routine plastic surgeon was too scared to operate and I had to be referred to a specialist). By pure coincidence one night, Tummy Tribe popped up on my Facebook feed and I got curious. I can honestly say that it was the best thing EVER to find. When I started the Tu...pler Technique in late January of this year, I had a waist of over 44” (which at 5’3” made me look as though I was still 6 months pregnant, 2 years after the birth of my youngest son and I was constantly asked when my baby was due!) and a gap of over 14 fingers width in the middle of the divarification. Within 3 months of seeing Rachel, my gap has reduced to between 8 and 9 fingers width and I had gone down to a 39.5” waist. I was able to ditch my “L” splint and go down to a “M” which was a great milestone. I am so grateful to Tummy Tribe for being there with the support and encouragement to keep going. It is not a quick fix solution but if done right, is a long term solution and I’m now not facing major surgery (with its lengthy recovery time which I can not afford with 2 children and a husband (or is that 3 children!!) and associated pain and scar tissue), my self-confidence has increased and I no longer get asked when my baby is due. The best thing is that my trousers now sit in their correct place rather than digging into my c-section scar which only added to my misery. Thank you so much Rachel and Tummy Tribe, I couldn’t have done it without you!'
Thank you so much for sharing this with us and we look forward to hearing how you are getting on in the next few months. Well done!
