Service is exceptional. Quality of food superb. Very well lit and the environment is overall very bright in terms of positivity and energy. The menu of food and desserts have many awesome options and surely compels guests to continue patronizing the joint. Ravi Bhudiya and Bipin Gami truly know their dessert venues.

User

Loved their vegan mango, strawberry and lemon sorbets (will be going back to try the pear too!) Looking forward to tasting some more vegan creations in the near future!

I am a management student & want to share a personal and 'twisting' experience at Twist Ice-cream parlour at Burnt Oak Broadway. On 15th May 2017, along with our family friends we (my family) went to Twist ice-cream parlour by around 10 pm. The place has a good variety of ice-cream flavours and good quality ambience.

Every one of us placed our order. I particularly ordered a Coke Float which comes in a glass and has an ice-cream at the top & coke at the bottom. When the coke float was served to us the coke spurt of the glass spilling all over the table. The lady employee who was serving us immediately looked at the manager asking to replace the coke float right away and without any hesitation, the manager agreed to replace it with a new serve.

I was really impressed by the proactiveness shown by the management, the crux to any business success is customer satisfaction and I believe they have really understood it well. Customer satisfaction brings customer loyalty which will make the customers come back again and again which creates business sustainability.

So, my friends & colleagues, I would definitely recommend you to visit twist ice-cream parlour at Burnt oak and experience the good satisfying experience as I did.

Cheers!!!

Despite reading the bad reviews, we decided to try it out for ourselves. I went with my family ... brilliantly decorated, had a 50s look which I loved. The waitress serving us was absolutely fantastic, couldn't have been more accommodating. Met the owner, she was lovely We ordered a few desserts, the Bombay wrap and a variety of drinks ... the portions were a good size (based on experiences from other places), that we ended up taking food home ... great value for money. My suggestion is that you try it out once ... Great addition to the area!

Amazing customer service and the most friendly staff. Always feel comfortable and welcomed when at Twist and the most important thing the FOOD is out of this world, finger licking good and Aunty always is happy to cater for everyones needs. I would recommend to everyone. Always greeted with a smile no matter how busy they are...

Absolutely amazing experience and customer service!! My children had their 5th and 7th birthday party at Twist in burnt oak. A wonderful family friendly environment and staff who were happy and assisted my needs every step of the way. THANK YOU TWIST !! - Highly recommended for food and experience 😁

User

Yummy desserts-recommend the Fererro waffle and the cookie dough with ice cream.

Now that they've got through the teething problems, the service is good, but after 7pm on a weekend, it can get a bit manic!

User

The Waffle and Late were delicious. Twist decor is pleasing to the eye, tastefully done... Staff not engaging unfortunately. If I hadn't got the Menu myself I think we would have waited an awful long time ( like the table beside us) By the time we had finished they still hadn't even taken their drink order 🙈. I will go back, for the waffles!

User

Staff were friendly but service was very bad it was 10 o'clock and they were busy but it doesn't mean they got every single order wrong all of our crepes and waffles had hardly any fruit on and we had to tell them and they put some more on my sister got a raspberry cheesecake and when it came it looked like it had strawberry sauce when asked the staff she didn't even know what she gave. Will not be going there again will stick to Delights they are just perfect

Went to Twist today and did not have a good experience.

Placed 3 orders for the same dessert. Order came back wrong. I then had to dispute with management about what I ordered. Management then decided to not change the order and mentioned that she will not be willing to take a loss.

Clearly, management is more concerned with an £18 loss due to the waitress bringing me the wrong dessert then providing good service.

The worst thing is that it was the manager that served me.

1 can = 100 more. Good Luck

Went in on a Sunday evening.. there was 2 large groups already in there..they wanted us to squeeze in the middle of the 2 groups even though there were a few more tables available..most people sat with coats on as it's so cold in there.

3 of us ordered..only 2 came out. We then had to ask again for the 3rd pudding.

Ordered crepe and ice cream.. thought the crepe would be soft and warm but was cold and crispy in places.. Don't think I'll be going back..

User

Went to get desert one scoop came out with squashed down melted scoop

User

Well I went there early and there was another lot sitting there went to look at the variety of ice cream and not many on display sat back at table and I ended up wanting a sundae and got told they don't have that ice cream either. Bearing in mind it's a Saturday would you not think they would order enough supplies!!! I am very annoyed as I took my baby with me and they didn't have plain ice cream either so I just sat there while my family ate their dessert... well I ain't going there again and I don't know if the guy serving was a manager but he didn't even think to apologise just looked at me funny although I did say I might as well go tesco's across the road

User

The service here is terrible!!! I placed my order with the manager and received the wrong dessert, I politely went back to the manager to ask her to change it and was rudely told that she wouldn't change it because it's what I ordered and what she heard me say. Well obviously it wasn't or I wouldn't have gone back, either way it's polite especially as the manager to rectify a customer issue but this manager categorically refused to.

I must say this is appalling! The manager is totally unprofessional and lacks basic communication skills.

Needless to say I won't be returning!

So today hubby & I walked into our local again as we previously gave them the benefit of the doubt when they first opened (people were moaning about being over priced and poor service). We went there just after 8.30 and it wasn't really too full. We waited a few mins at the door and the manager didn't even bother getting us seated. Although he was in front of us. We had to ask them if we can have a table. They gave us one with one chair. Waited another few mins for someone to bring a chair over. We patiently sat that 15 mins!!!!!!!!! And NO ONE bothered to give us a menu or anything. Whilst people who walked in after us got seated & got given a menu. A large table next to us got their menu too who we're already eating & we're moving onto desserts. We just got IGNORED so we walked out after 20 mins of them ignoring us. Won't be back again. Shame as your walking distance but not impressed at how you treated us and no you weren't busy either! So no excuses. . You obviously do not value our custom or business.

Don't usually review unless something has annoyed me enough too... Just came in a group - 5 adults plus a 5 year old... Because it was the 5 year old wanted dessert... We ordered our desserts - hers was a simple Ferrero ice cream with a few snowflakes... The simplest order - and they even got that wrong... Asked for the right order to be given... Came back with the right order... Tasted it - it tasted like plain vanilla ice cream... So I questioned whether it was Ferrero ice cream and I got told - this is how they make it - so asked if we could change it - to hazelnut - I mean this was for a 5 year old after all - the lady said you have to speak to my manager so she sent him over - the manager came and said quite abruptly - we can't keep changing your order - we changed it once already - I explained that was their staff's mistake - not ours - and he was like oh - but we changed it - we can't just keep changing it - if you want a different flavour - you'll have to buy another - you can imagine the 5 year old's face at this point - upset because she feels it's her fault... So not to disappoint the sole reason we were there - we had to purchase another ice cream... I can totally understand if it was one of the adults, but to be like that to a 5 year old... So not the type of place I'll be visiting again - that's for sure... Very disappointed - staff not very attentive - poor service... Rude management... I can safely say it's crossed off our list for future visits... We will be visiting places who appreciate their customers values - including children! Personally - avoid!
