Ucl Scuba Club Description
Learn to dive with the globally-recognised PADI system, from first time try-dives all the way up to the professional level of Divemaster… at student prices! No experience necessary. If you can swim, we will teach you how to dive! We are a relaxed, student-orientated dive club with one mission: to get more people diving safely and with confidence.
The Club runs UK dive trips throughout the year (such as diving with the seals in Lundy). This all leads up to our big Summer trip… and having dived both Egypt and Lanzarote in our only two years of existence, it’s safe to say we don’t hang back in having fun.
If you are a professional diver, this is your opportunity to develop your career. With a large number of students eager to learn to dive each year, you will have the opportunity to gain certifications and boost your professional profile.

Calling all @members!
A huge thank you to Charlotte Page for her fascinating talk about what the future holds for the world's coral reefs. It was great to hear about her plans for her PhD (good luck!!) and acted as a perfect introduction to the documentary. For those of you who couldn't make it, make sure you check out the Chasing Coral documentary on Netflix - we promise that it will change your perception about the world's oceans and our relationship with them!
Don't forget our joint event with UCL Biosoc this evening - a screening of the critically acclaimed documentary: Chasing Coral, combined with a short discussion of PhD student (and scuba club member!!) Charlotte Eve Page's research: "Coral Reefs for 2050: Are there winning reefs in the face of committed future climate change?"
