Unbound Productions Description

Unbound Productions was created by Rebecca Hill and Bradley Leech. Our first production, Travesti - a verbatim play about women’s real experiences of sexism performed by a cast of male actors – was a sell-out show, winning acclaim and awards at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2014. The company is currently developing new work, including, Torque, a play about the relationship between a Deaf man and a hearing woman. Torque has initially been showcased at the Bush Theatre’s RADAR festival, included in Ovalhouse’s Future of the Arts Gala, and was shortlisted for Theatre Royal Haymarket’s inaugural Masterclass: Pitch Your Play programme. Rebecca and Bradley’s independent careers took off in 2014, when Rebecca was made Director in Residence at the Almeida Theatre and Bradley became a Course Director at the Italia Conti Academy; they have since been continuing to invest and develop creative relationships and beginnings of future projects. In 2016, Ben Atterbury was welcomed to the company as Creative Producer, alongside his work as Associate Artistic Director at the award-winning The Other Room theatre in Cardiff. The team are excited to be collaborating on innovative, thought-provoking and challenging work.
