United Arts Rifles Lodge London Freemasons Description

The United Arts Rifles Lodge was consecrated at Great Queens Street in London on the 15th December, 1917. It was formed, in part, to galvanise & continue the camaraderie that existed amongst the United Arts Rifles Volunteer Regiment, 1914 - 1919. The regiment paraded at Earls Court & were affectionately known as the"Unshrinkables". Further reading on this regiment can be found in the book by Edward Potton, " A record of the United Arts Rifles 1914-1919", which is still available today via amazon.
