Do a little dance, it's Friday night!!! 💃🕺 . Our pick for tonight is this delicious little number from @tinta_tinto 🙌 . This winery is all about the family and sustainability so much so they've invented their own term 'negawatt' - zero energy wines! Clouds brewing at @unwinedsw17 for #WineAbouttheWeather - for a special tipple tonight we've chosen the Judith Beck Ink 🐙 made from Austrian grape Zwiegelt, which was actually bred in the 1920's to with stand frost (obvs important in the chilly Austrian climate) and pretty damn tasty too! A montepulciano rose with a mesmerising deep cloudy pink, with a peachy, slightest orange hue. Just this weekend left with Mel from @overseaschinesefood - if you haven't tried her epic wontons, soothing cold sesame noodles or Szechuan chilli cheese fries you MUST make time to come down...!

If there's one thing you want to drink today it's very cold, slightly fizzy, refreshing wine!!! 👌🙌 . Vinho Verde (or 'green wine') is from the north of Portugal using Alvarinho (aka Albarino) and Trajadura (aka Treixadura), which are also found over the border in Spain. They bottle it so quickly after fermentation that there's still fizz left in the wine, giving it a delicious refreshing zing! Yummy green apples jump out of the glass 😋 . Txakoli (pronounced shak-oli) is from ...the Basque region of Spain, specifically from the Getarian peninsular between Bilboa and San Sebastian. There's only about 20 producers of the wine and they only received a DO status in the 80's, despite it being traditionally produced for generations. Great atmosphere, incredible friendly staff and fantastic food with a real focus on celebrating talented chef’s each month. The wine selection is themed and staff are really helpful with selecting, food was to a high standard each time I visited and over all just a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. Will be returning to see who is in the kitchen next!

Great Sunday meet up with the ladies. Lunch was tasty and the wine was flowing. Waitress was lovely.

Good food, good wine, good company - fabulous and knowledgeable staff! We will be back!!
