Upstairs At The Ritzy Description
Upstairs at the Ritzy is the lovely bar and exciting venue above the Ritzy Cinema. We're open 7 nights a week and we pride ourselves on being a well-known & well-loved cultural hub for Brixton.
Our stage showcases a consistently high standard of live music and DJs; from reggae, afrobeat & hip-hop, to global-jazz, folk, Balkan & beyond! Plus we bring a monthly comedy feast, open mic, performance, workshops, the UK’s best film quiz & all sorts of exciting group activities. Full menu served all day till 9pm – so there’s eats to be had too!
The venue is for over 18s only after 8pm.

What a Fantastic News Years Eve, £10 For a Kicking show, Lovely friendly crowd, DJ's who let the music play , Great live band and top class Pa's. Thanks Ritzy for a superb night & unlike so many other clubs and bars you didn't rip me off with hiked up prices coz it was New Years. Will 100% be coming here again! Blessed G! You made me dance my feet sore!!
We love UATR! We've had some of our best shows here playing in the band, and have seen great comedy and music nights, as well. Good food and nice people, too!
We had a fantastic time celebrating my friends birthday. The host is brilliant, the show is well run the DJ's are great and the photographer really friendly. We will be going again!!

Hands down the best live music venue in South London. A beautiful first-floor performance space with a grand outdoor terrace boasting views over Brixton. There is simply nowhere else in London that has such an awesome vibe! :)
Good music, nice balcony, friendly crowd ,good craft beers and food, central love this place

As someone that regularly plays in a band, ritzy have always looked after us. When ever I'm there vibes are nice. Watch an early evening movie then come upstairs at the ritzy every first friday of the month for Soul House.

It's great it's there.
Bar, quiet sitting area, cabaret, toilets, balcony are placed thoughtfully wyz the airy view of windrush square & vintage neon sign, ones are free to choose where to be.
The stuffs are almost fairly friendly. & i can dream in any seen from favorite movie.,.
