Coming of Mac Pro and being an apple fanboy for years it was bit scary to spend so much money on a windows machine, but having utopia guys support at every stage of the order made it much easier. They answered every question (and i had a million of them) and proved to have a deep knowledge in hardware / software requirements that VFX industry requires. Thanks to you I feel empowered to do more, go further and create things which were just not possible to do on a mac system. My husband had ordered a custom laptop from Utopia awhile back and now that it was my turn for a new one, he suggested going through them again. I got the Haze 15 in Candy Pink and absolutely love it! A big thank you to Barry and everyone at Utopia Computers for outstanding customer service. This is exactly why I'd much rather do business with an independant company rather than a large chain. If you are looking for a new computer both my husband and I highly recommend going through Utopia. And as a little added bonus, thanks so much for the Highland Toffee, that was a nice touch.

I’ve had my Utopia build for several months now, it’s worked like a dream with no issues. Games, 3D sculpting, graphic and video editing; it handles it all with no struggles.

The website was a big help in choosing the components of the pc, as I had a ballpark idea of what I needed but no specifics; having a list of drop downs available for each set up made it straightforward for someone with limited pc building knowledge. After I placed my order I received a phone call from Utopia to confirm the order and give me a rough estimate of when it would be delivered, as well as any tracking info.

The packaging was something I mentioned in the call, I was worried about the possibility of it being broken during delivery; I was assured it would be in one piece when it arrived and sure enough it came in a wooden crate with the contents incredibly padded, so no damage at all in transit.

I’d definitely buy from Utopia again, great service!

I've had my Utopia Computers custom built laptop for little over a week now and am extremely impressed. From start to finish the service has been impeccable. Lots of customisation option, reasonable price, great communication and fantastic end product.

I purchased a Prodigy 15" laptop mostly for Virtualisation/Gaming and it handles pretty much anything I can throw at it. I have no compunction in recommending Utopia Computers to anyone looking for a new computer, as you will not be disappointed.



Special thanks to Barry who built the laptop and communicated throughout the process, and the Highland Toffee was a nice surprise for a Londoner :)

Firstly, The customer service i had from these guys was outstanding and far greater than any SUPER computer store and amazingly shocked with their crews capabilities of approaching and handling problems which everyone will encounter at one point. what really got me sucked in with these guys was the way they prioritize you even if you don't pay the extra or 1000s your still their number one goal to keep happy regardless of what you do or how much you spend, they would treat you equally. My story of why im writing this review is quite complex and long a story but put it this way, they not only fixed my problems with the computer, they also tried comforting me while i was stressing which is quite rare to find in people who just work for money. These guys you meet is a one in a life time chance to meet,

i would strongly advise you take all advantages as possible ( sorry Barry :D )



also i would personally want to say Thank you very much Barry as you have helped me the most throughout the process of my computer issues, you kept me updated and made sure all safety measures were made and couldn't thank you enough!

I have owned my Utopia gaming laptop for just under 2 years and I have nothing but praise for Utopia. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is unsure of building thier own machine but want something that is top class great performance and reliable and the same can be said for Utopia costumer service, On the rare times I had issues I have been helped out quick and speedy and always successful by either Barry or Ryan and on the 2 occasion my laptop had to be sent back i was not long with out it before they had it fixed and ship backed to me. will be using utopia in the future again hopefully for a desktop next time or a better laptop depending on how uni goes. Thank you for your amazing service and keep up the great work. :)

I purchased this for video editing and visual effects.



I'm really impressed by the performance of this machine, is amazingly fast, slick, smooth and reliable.

The guys at Utopia Computers are super supportive and very quick in everything, and also very patience ;)



I'm on my 3rd week using this beauty, so far I can't complain on anything...

Only little thing that does bother me a bit is the screen panel, is a bit "light" and wiggly, I'm always scared to break it when I close it.

Besides that, very impressed with quality.

Recommend for sure, and I will buy again.

I bought a gaming PC from Utopia a few years back which I'm still running all my games on. Honestly wish I had the money to get my Mrs one too because all the people at Utopia are super helpful and friendly, if there is ever any issue they work quick and do their best to help, there is no company I'd reccomend more than Utopia.

First of all a huge thank you too everyone at Utopia for there support and and understanding when I ordered my laptop, as my life was very much up in the air after Being a victim of the flooding back in December making me homeless! They where just fantastic and held onto my laptop till I got myself sorted!



I ordered the basic build Stratos laptop and I can't fault it and the price was just fantastic after looking around I randomly found Utopia Computers and being a Scottish company on the up and up I felt these guys where the way to go! Especially after reading reviews on the customer support and they really haven't dissapointed me at all!



I have no understanding of computer insides and my boyfriend helped me decided what to go for he has a Alienware laptop and he is even super in pressed with this laptop! I mostly got it to play WoW but have been playing a lot of Steam games too and nothing is a problem for it so far.



I really recommend giving Utopia Computers a shot and don't forget about that Highland toffee bar you get to munch while you unwrap everything!

Over the course of a few days Ryan from Utopia assisted in refining the specification and price and throughout the build stayed in personal touch. Communications, ethos, customer service was second to none and the final finished product which arrived safely crated, is a joy to use. Couldn't recommend this enthusiastic young company more.

Extremely easy ordering on the website and staff were very personable.

I opted not to have an OS installed as I had an installation disc from a previous machine. They gave me a call and asked if I wanted an OS installing anyway (no extra charge) and then I could simply enter my licence code when it arrived.

Very attentive and accommodating without being 'overly friendly'.

Absolutely no issues with delivery or follow-up.

Machine and components are top-notch. Functioning flawlessly.
