Voting will close on Sunday at 5pm and we'll announce the winner on Monday 2nd July.

The list of specifications below outline the parameters of the UWL Graphic Design Society (UWL GDS) logo competition. You must follow these specifications for your submission to be accepted as an entry. Keep in mind that the logo will be printed on many different materials and should have the ability to be scaled up and down. This competition will create a logo for the foreseeable future so please refrain from creating anything that can be perceived to be offensive or discrim...inatory. If the logo is accepted you will be credited on social media and via email for your winning entry, however it will become the property of the UWL GDS to reprint and use on any materials and in any media the committee of the society sees fit.
This is an unpaid competition but if you win: Your logo will be all of the UWL GDS materials with you as the credited creator. You will receive a limited edition screen print of your logo.
• All logos should be in black and white – you may attach a colour palette to the side of your submitted document if you wish. • All logos must be in JPEG or PNG format when submitted and come from an original vector file, not bitmap. The original file will be handed to the UWL GDS if you win. • All work must be your own. • The logo must contain the words ‘UWL Graphic Design Society’. If you are creating an icon the text must be added as it will be on official documents, however the icon could be used on its own for merchandise. • Any fonts which you use must have the proper license. The UWL GDS operates on a non-profit , education basis so you may use a commercial license, open source, use for educational/ non-profit or free to use license.
