We often eat in the viaduct due to the excellent food and friendly service but we hired the room for a function last weekend and they were fantastic the buffet was execellent the staff so helpful and they made our event run so smoothly for us, I can seriously recommend anyone looking for a venue to consider the viaduct and it supports our local community

Myself and some friends were at the Viaduct yesterday evening. Great staff and lovely hot food. Thank you Viaduct!!

My local! Excellent manager and very happy sociable staff which says a lot. Food is amazing and huge portions. Have recently been to a catered function upstairs, again the food and staff were brilliant. I really should buy shares in this place ’┐Į’┐Į xx

It's a Fullers pub so London Pride on hand pump, the food we had beer battered Fish and Chips was lovely plenty of it and no bones. for dessert both my wife and i had Eton Mess, biggest dessert i've ever had . Lovely Jubbly

I attended this establishment my Wife, (who is disabled and a wheelchair user), my Daughter and two Grandsons. The staff were extremely courteous and welcoming, we were shown to an easy entrance for wheelchairs, but then found there were two steps to the eating area! The food in honesty, was only average. However, our biggest concern was very poor waiting time. Having waited unduly for the main course, it was then 45 minutes from ordering our dessert and actually being served. This I'm afraid, rather spoiled the experience for us.

In fairness, having registered our concerns, we were offered a refund on the desserts, which we considered honourable. However, we declined the refund in consideration of their apology and very polite service.

I should also stress that we have only been here once, and this may not be a typical scenario.

Christmas lunch is ok not brilliant.without adding gravey in to the plate. Should give a customer a small jar of gravey.serving and others are brilliant.

Went in there for a spot of lunch on good Friday as we have had a roast there a few times and it has always been good. Went to order some drinks first for myself, wife and daughter but the lady behind the bar was not very fluent in English. Ended up with a cheese and tomato baguette with my drinks when I actually ordered cheese and onion crisps. My wife and daughter then had to order their food seperately whilst I ate the baguette that I didn't want. Tried to explain the error to another staff member but they just laughed as their English was just as bad. When the other food arrived it was stone cold. We left the food and went. Will not be returning.

Just had a disappointing lunch. The cottage pie, which was very tasty, was tiny and the veg was cold. Lukewarm gravy. The waitress offered to bring me fresh veg but the cottage pie was so small, I'd already finished it.

I giggled when the barmaid got my drink wrong 3 times, it wasn't such a big deal when I had a lovely lunch to look forward to.

My husband had the roast beef, which smelled delicious but again, all very lukewarm.

Have to say, I've never had a bad meal there before but the fact they had the whole saloon bar reserved for a large party shouldn't have affected my lunch - sorry guys - I don't normally complain but this felt justified.
