Ayia Napa to host first underwater museum in the Mediterranean!
It will be created in the sea of Pernera in Ayia Napa and will be the first underwater museum in the Mediterranean. The sculptures will be created by British artist Jason deCaires Taylor, who is responsible for the world’s first underwater sculpture park, the Molinere Bay Underwater Sculpture Park, which is listed as one of National Geographic’s 25 Wonders of the World.
Not something you can do with little ones b...ut certainly with grown-ups🙂

Can you see dolphins in Cyprus? Yes you can! As an @In-Cyprus article reports, Dolphins have been spotted just off the coast from Ayia Napa and Protaras, very close to our villas….
The presence of five different marine mammals, one of them a whale species and four of them types of dolphins around Cyprus’ coasts was confirmed by a study which was concluded in May this year.
So while we can’t totally guarantee it, there is definitely a chance to see dolphins while in Cyprus.😊...

A bit of history :-) - some (of a... more cynical disposition!) may think Father’s day is just another excuse for the card industry to sell more cards (it apparently ranks as number 5 in the top selling card holidays) but in Catholic countries of Europe, it has been celebrated on 19th March (Saint Joseph’s Day) since the Middle Ages. The celebration was taken by the Spanish and Portuguese to Latin America, where 19th March is often still used for it. But many countries in Europe and the Americas have adopted the U.S. date (introduced at the beginning of the 20th Century to complement Mother’s Day), which is the third Sunday of June.

We don't normally gush....BUT Villa Anna is breathtaking. A big house - three bedrooms with a whole floor dedicated to a private gym and entertainment area - within a beautiful walled garden with private pool. Near the top of a hill, the view literally spans from one side of the island to the other - you can see both coasts at the same time.

Travelling with children, especially with younger ones, can be a bit (or extremely!) daunting. Even if you get through the journey with a minimum number of “are we nearly there yet”s, you never really know how they will get on once you reach your destination (will they cry or shout or poo or throw up – or all four! – at inconvenient times??).
Quite possibly! But it is still worth the effort….
We at Villas4kids do all we can to make sure that your holiday is as easy as possibl...e from arranging transfers to providing age-appropriate equipment and toys. We can’t totally guarantee the cry/poo/shout ratio to smiles/fun/laughter but however the kids get on, whether it is your first trip or one of many, it is still worth it every time.
Whether you are travelling to one of our villas, camping for a long weekend or trying a hotel city break, travelling with kids is always worthwhile (even if it sometimes doesn’t feel like it 100%, or even 50%, of the time!)
