Our first VTS Summer School for 2019 will be What You WANT! A summer camp inspired by the fabulous musical Legally Blonde!!
Elle Woods appears to have it all but her life is turned upside down when her boyfriend Warner dumps her so he can attend Harvard Law. Determined to get him back, Elle quickly realises her potential and sets out to prove herself to the world. A journey of self discovery and expanding horizons filled with feel-good music, high energy routines and a life a...ffirming message that being true to yourself never goes out of style!
This big cast show has brilliant roles for boys and girls. For experienced performers there will be plenty of challenges and for those new to the stage, lots and lots of wonderful opportunities to learn about performing. So prepare to act, sing, dance, meet new friends and put on a magical show in just 5 days!
PLEASE NOTE places are extremely limited and we have just 25 spaces per age group, ensuring all children are given plenty of support and scope to be featured in our production.

Our Junior Actors production opens in 10 days and they are working extremely hard on this challenging script!
With everyone adopting multiroles plus narrating the story its a lot for a young group and add into the mix costume changes and props to collect and direction to remember - its a huge achievement from all of them!
Big thanks to all of the parents who have been helping at home with all the line learning as we know that becomes a team sport!

Shout out to our MT classes who finished their Workshop Term with class sharings. Its so good to see you all progressing and developing! We also had a lot of kids who have joined us in the past few weeks and so havent learned everything perfectly but got up, gave everything a go and performed as part of their new team, which we hugely value at Vivace!! Very strong casts at Jun, Inter and Sen level - well done everyone xxx

Since Bohemian Rhapsody hit the big screen, the world has fallen in love with the music of Queen all over again! Our second summer school for 2019 is Don’t Stop Me Now! a summer camp inspired by the musical We Will Rock You, which features Queens greatest hits.

Its been great being back in the studio this week catching up with all of our fantastic students after the half term break. We really do have the best job in the world!
We are now off for the easter weekend and I know this holiday is a busy on for many of you.
Our teens for the most part are spending this studying and getting ready for exams. Please do us one favour - in the midst of all the hard work do take a little time out to take care of you. Its vitally important! ❤️
... One of our girls has a very important final meeting with a casting director next week for a main character in a series. She has so much to learn and its still all very hush hush but we'll be able to share her successes very soon!
Classes recommence on Tue and from there its full steam ahead...

It is becoming very clear that the business plan for our agency should involve me being on holiday 🤣 The minute I set foot out of Glasgow there is always a wave of submissions/tapes/license applications/recalls and this week has been no exception. Here is actual footage of Studio Manager Phillip who is holding the fort. Thank you Phillip, you are doing a spectacular job. I’ll maybe stay on here for a few extra days - tough job but I’m only thinking of keeping the opportunities flooding in for the students! 😜

We are now finished for the holidays. Thank you to everyone for a fantastic term of classes, shows, achievements and laughs!
This year Spring Break and Easter Weekend are split and this has led to quite a bit of calendar confusion. We are closed from Monday 1st April to Thursday 11th April for Spring Break. We are then closed from Friday 19th April to Monday 22 April for the Easter Weekend. Check out Studio Manager Phillips handy diagram below highlighting the holidays.

Vivace is a fantastic Theatre School and Casting Agency. It's also one of the fairest. They work out the fees for the year, then you pay by d/d from August until June approx. My 2 children have been attending for the last couple of years and they really enjoy it. Their head shots are taken once or twice per year, and your child can be nominated for acting jobs.

Joyce and her talented fellow teachers are amazing and they know how to bring out the best in each child.

My daughter joined initially for drama then after 2 years she transferred to musical theatre where she knew nobody. As a result of the confidence gained from drama she was able to join in with ease and has never looked back. She has formed good bonds with peers and staff and has made some lovely friends from both MT and the drop in dance classes. I have watched her grow in confidence which has helped her in all aspects of her life. She misses the classes when they are not on and speaks about Vivace all the time. She has recently received a merit from LAMDA. She has performed in 3 amazing shows and is excited about future events. An excellent theatre school to be part of .

My daughter Iona started with vivace in August last year after enjoyed some summer schools and i cannot praise the team enough. Everyone is included, the goal is to build confidence and have fun - and along the way everyone learns and grows. It’s a wonderful atmosphere every week at classes and tonight I’m loving the Sister Act performance, all the hard work paying off ��. Can not recommend the school highly enough!

I wish I could give Vivace more stars!! My daughter attends classes for Pop Academy (vocals and guitar), Musical Theatre (singing, dancing and acting) and drop-in dance classes on Sundays (ballet, commercial and Broadway tap/jazz) and joining Vivace is definitely the best thing she's ever done!



The quality of the teaching is excellent across all the disciplines, the opportunities to learn and perform are fabulous and the staff, students and parents are supportive, friendly and welcoming. Overall, an awesome place to develop skills, confidence and friendships :)
