Warmup's range of electric floor heaters are perfect for heating your bathroom and are more cost-efficient than central-heating systems. That’s because floor heaters run at lower temperatures than radiators whilst producing the same comfort temperature in the room. The running cost depends on the room size and the running time, as well as how well the room is insulated.
... As an example, if you have the system on for 2 hours in the morning and an hour in the afternoon over the winter period, it can cost just £22.75 over the course of 6 months (182 days). This is based on a 4m2 Loose Wire heated floor area and using a system installed on 10mm Insulation Boards. We’ve used 12p/kWh as the energy price in this calculation.

Yesterday I had the great pleasure of having a Warmup engineer attend and issue with a heater. Phil called me with an eta and gave me time to get to site to meet him. On arrival he shook my hand and asked what the issue was, after this he got to work in a very calm and controlled manner. He also advised the customer of the steps he would take and showed myself and the customer every stage. He resolved the issue and could not have been more helpful and I'm so impressed with proper customer/ installer service. I cannot speak highly of how much I appreciated this experience. Please pass this onto Phil and I would recommend Warmup very highly to future customers. Cheers Warmup and Phil

Here at L Johnson plumbing and Heating we love warm up. We advise all of our customers to go with the warm up system with all of our bathrooms. All of our customers love the usability of the stylish controller units and we will carry on using this system into the future!

Great product and easy to install, my wife and I laid 160square metres of in screed cable in 5 zones all with their own 4ie's, the result after completion is great, a warm easy to control house, important is the insulation under the screed, the 4ie is great thermostat too, easy to control and use via the transitional web page

Good so far (4iE) for two weeks; making a native app for smartphones (android/iphone) would increase it's rating by 1 star.

Having API access to grab stats (or even modify) would give it an additional star.

Have not tried out the 'smart' features of it yet, as the system has just been installed about 2 weeks ago, and I am slowing increasing the temp by 1oC/day as recommended by my installer.

Touch screen absolutely sucks!! Doesn't work half the time! You set time to be on for 1 hour and 3 hours later it's still on :-/ Bet that's great for my energy bill! I've only given a 2 star because I haven't called warmup yet. If their customer service is shit I'll change it to a one.

Pretty disappointed with the 4iE, as a wall thermostat, it does the job, but it's not as "smart" as I expected. The iPhone photo is deceiving, I expected an App, but it appears that it just uses a web browser interface?

The data available from the system is minimal, it should be possible to download / extract the temperature & energy data with some degree of granularity, say, at least 5 minute averages. Sure the graph looks nice, but in its current form, is no more than a toy.

To justify calling it a "Smart" thermostat should mean more than just having put an "i" in the name.

I've installed the 4IE thermostat tonight and have been annoyed to find out that not only was I lied when sold the system and there is no iPhone app but also the website interface does not work on iPhone.



The thermostat probe is tiled into my floor so I guess I won't be able to get a refund.

I took the time to contact Warmup UK via their website form and never got a reply about my faulty unit. We had Warmup heat matting fitted around the house linked to one of the manual units. All was working well until the thermostat simply gave up, well to be precise it blew whilst in our wall! Still awaiting a reply, perhaps this review my change their urgency to help.

I have installed this product in my house and it is a nightmare to get it to work properly. The temperature keeps on going up and stay high all the time, my house is like a sauna. I change the temperature but it doesn't change at all. Getting an engineer to come seems to be a mission impossible also and quite expensive. I wish I would have done some research before end. Terrible product with a terrible customer service. Very disappointed
