We are a dynamic award winning company that love making beds. We do the same today as we have done for the last 35 years which is handcraft beautiful wooden beds from FSC certified wood. We also sell matching bedroom furniture and a wide range of handpicked mattresses including organic options.

We hand make every single one of our beds in our ethical workshop in London. Our craftsmen marry cutting edge production techniques with traditional joints to make a bed that is built to last.

When you make a decision to buy a new bed we know you want it as quickly as possible. That’s why our team works hard to deliver and assemble it for you within days, and because there are no middle men involved we can offer you great prices.

Customers can find us at 7 locations across London as well as in Brighton and St Albans. But if you can’t get to one of our showrooms then you can still purchase online.

We not only care about beds; we care about the world around us. In 2006 we launched the ‘Big Bed Campaign’, helping re-housed Big Issue vendors by giving them a bed and mattress. We also support Shelter and Trees for Cities amongst other local charities.

Our Warren Evans daydream bed, petite tables and 7 draw long chest just arrived and we LOVE them. It’s exactly what we hoped for and they are so well made. My biggest reason for the 5* review is our delivery men, Barrington and Mick (team A). They arrived early but offered to sit outside until the time slot (of course we didn’t make them do that!). They got everything in and assembled everything, the 7 draw chest wouldn’t fit up the stairs so they used pullies to lift it up through the window - this was their idea and they did it with no grumble whatsoever; they were really friendly and happy for us in our move. They put the bed together in no time at all and left the place spotless. I could not recommend more!

It's such a shame they've gone into administration two days before delivery of my dressing table. I've bought many things from them in the past and everything has been superb. It's such a pity.

I very rarely leave reviews on companies' Facebook pages, but I feel compelled to do so in this case. I bought a bedframe with a pocket sprung mattress from Warren Evans in 2010 (following an earlier purchase of the same model by my then boyfriend). I LOVE that bed and the mattress still performs as new (I have also been diligent in turning it over every couple of months). Yesterday I contacted the company after my child had an accident on the mattress to ask if it would be safe to steam clean it. They replied the same day (Sunday!), managed to locate my order from eight years ago with the exact model of the mattress, and advised on my query. Amazing customer service!

I had some problems with my new bed frame, the Daydream, as it was squeaking. Warren Evans changed the slats, and when that didn't solve the problem, I was offered a replacement bed frame. I chose a different one, the Milan. That arrived today and no squeaking! I have to say, at the beginning, I had many emails and telephone conversations back and forth, trying to solve the problem, and sometimes the staff I spoke to were quite rude, saying they would ring me back and not doing so, so I had to chase them up. When it was passed onto a manager, things moved quickly and they were very accommodating. I have to praise the different delivery guys, who have always been super professional. Specially Ron Lewis, who set up my replacement bed today. He went out of his way helping to move my very heavy mattress out of the way, and made sure I was happy with the bed, all with a cheerful disposition after a very long day. Thank you Ron!

We've had our bed for nearly 4 years, we have the beautiful Sunday bed in super kingsize but in the past few months it has started creaking terribly.



We've tightened it up but think it needs a professional to come and look at it - Obviously having shelled out around £1600 i'm hoping this is something you can offer? We're close to Walthamstow if this is still where you're based?

When you want to buy something in the store staff i really help full and pleased to serve you but when it comes to the warranty they not so great...

I've spend over £3000 in one of the showrooms based in Enfield. One of the things i bought from them was a bad that including mattress cost around £2500 when just under one year from the moment of my purchase paint start pealing off the bad i rang the store and they gave me plenty of excuses and explanations what could have happen and the only thing that i was offered was a can of paint that i was told to pick up from store and paint the bad frame myself really disappointing

Waste of several hours of my time. You spend quite a bit of time looking through numerous websites to track down a new bed, you finally make a decision to use Warren Evans and then make a bed selection. You make your purchase, select your bed options, size, mattress, finish, and are offered delivery times and make your payment. I was offered an earliest date of Thursday 2nd November on their website after completing my options which I selected. I was a little confused to get a phone call the next day asking me to arrange a delivery date which I had already done. During the course of the conversations it appears there is a problem with their website, if you opt for a painted finish, which I did, it takes another day before the bed can be delivered, which the website does not take into account when it offers you delivery options. I stated it's not exactly complicated to get the website to add another day to the delivery options when a painted finish is selected. The revised date didn't work for me, nor did the proposal of me selecting another finish, getting it delivered later, I appeared to be the one required to do the compromising here. It's my view that as the issue was with their website it was their responsibility to take steps to meet their commitment, I don't recall any apology, nor any mention of any goodwill gesture, only that they would feedback my comments to their website designers. I requested that the order be cancelled as I was not happy. The products looked nice and the lady on the telephone was very polite. Also in my opinion there are not enough photographs of each of the beds on the website, the colour of the bed should change subject to your selection, there should be more than photos of each bed from various angles, with and without bedding,

Lovely looking furniture but genuinely shocked they won’t deliver to Manchester. Had an order ready to place but I can’t actually buy what I wanted. Bought twice from them previously with no issues but now I can’t buy even if I want to.

Do not buy from here as the company has gone bust! It’s such a shame as the furniture we received is beautiful, but the customer service was always poor though. Not happy now as we only received our furniture last week and our 10 year warranty is now void! Shame we wasn’t told about the company going into administration earlier.

what we didn't know is they were going bust ! I have been onto them for two weeks re a damaged goods- they finally told me today more or less forget it we've gone bust ! Annoyed at the time wasted and being basically fobbed off - was told the system is down - we will get back - the system is down we will get back - i called again today to be told theyve gone into admin - they're website is still selling ! If you buy and it's damaged the staff have been advised not to accept returns ! They should have been honest, I've wasted money and time chasing. 😡

This company has has the most appalling customer service imaginable. I purchased a Trinity super king size bed and a single Camden bed. The first thing that struck as when the beds arrived was how poorly the beds were finished compared to the two previous Warren Evans beds we had. The wood fibres were poking through the finish on all of the bed posts. They were clearly not properly sanded before the finish was applied. The fibres could be felt all over the bed frames. After some weeks we found that both beds were creaking appallingly, it was impossible to get a good nights sleep, the smallest movements would create terrible creaking and popping noises. Warren Evans states on their website that the creaking bed is a sign of poor craftsmanship. We got in touch with the company under the warranty they make such a fuss about. After numerous emails back and forth they eventually agreed to send someone out to have a look. Two fitters arrived, one of them was particularly rude and unpleasant, and they replaced the slats which has mitigated the problem somwat but not completely. The fitter said that he couldn’t understand why the bed was still creaking. They took pictures of the finish. On the eight year old Warren Evans bed that we were using as a point of comparison because it has never creaked and has no finish problems, the rude fitter to my astonishment proceeded to bounce up and down extremely heavily and aggressively on my son’s bed without permission and asking. When I asked him why are you doing that he answered ‘you did it’! Then he rocked and shook the headboard back and forth very hard and said: it also creaks! I was astonished! This is my son’s bed not a showroom bed. It now indeed creaks. The same fitter than told me that as we are not happy with the solution he would pass a report to Warren Evans and someone would phone me within the hour. They would either replace or refund the beds. I waited four days for that phone call that I didn’t get. What I did finally get was an email saying they are pleased to hear that the creaking problems have been resolved! Regarding the finish issue they say that it is wear and tear! Unbelievable. How can it possibly be as the problem is under the finish! The wood fibres are sticking through the finish on top of the bed posts having not been properly sanded.There is not a single scratch to the frames. I provided photos of the finish on the previous bed compared to the current ones but this was ignored. It is appalling that they would call it wear and tear. It seems to be yet another example of a company that used to have high standards of workmanship but have now compromised them leaving their customers hugely dissatisfied with the experience.

Unfortunately, having ordered a new bed from you today I have reluctantly had to cancel my order as your customer service rep (his name was Junior) was unable to offer me any real help or options to deliver the bed to me.



Whilst, I know this was not actually Junior's fault, your restrictions around delivery to my area mean I can't accept deliver on the day I booked as I am only around from 1pm on that day. You offer no Fridays/Weekends/Evening deliveries that I can pay for and there appears to be absolutely no flexibility around booking times due to your automated routing system (which even Curry's, famous for their bad customer service can accommodate).



The issue I do have though is Junior's terrible lack of customer support - I would suggest that there is no point having an actual human making contact with customers if the only thing he appeared to have been trained to do is repeat the terms and conditions on your website and interrupt me to repeat them again every time I tried to have an actual conversation with him.



Apparently to option of me having a friend or family in the house to take delivery of the bed is one you offer! Very kind of you but I had already though of that and still could only take deliver of the bed in the afternoon of the day I chose (which more than provides a 3 hour window!)



I now can't order another bed immediately from a different store as it take 3-5 days to get my money back from you which has added to my frustration.



I have bought furniture from you before but I never will in the future and will also be certain to pass the word around about your atrocious customer service!



The whole customer experience of buying a bed should not stop as soon as you have taken the money from customers - in fact, that is the point you have the customer and when you should take the most care of them.

My experience was awful. I have back problems and was looking for a new mattress. My pain only shows after a few days so I can't just go to a show room, which is why I was attracted to their trial period. After trialling the first mattress I was led to believe by a customer service person that I could try another one with 120 days trial. So I did, but when it turned out that my back didn't respond well, I called up to ask to either return it, or swap it. This was refused on the basis of small print within the terms and conditions that I was never made aware of and was contradicted by the information I got from customer services. The worst part is that they really don't care! I begged them to understand that I'd been misled accidentally by one of THEIR people. But there was no budging. I am now stuck with a mattress that I have paid £300 for which we can't use.



They don't care!

Made a special detour to your Guildford showroom to make final decision on the bed furniture to buy before the sale ends tonight.



Before doing the extra miles I checked your store website. Opening time until 7pm.

I was at the store front around 5:30pm. All lights OFF and place was shut. I checked the door and same opening times.7pm.



I’ve tried the out of hours customer helpline and left a message. No response yet.

If I could put zero stars I would. Waited 2 weeks for my super king mattress to arrive...the delivery guys took one look at my door and stairs and refused to bring it up....didn't even try. Told me I should have got some zip and link, which I had never heard of. When I said this haven't been given to me as an option, they blamed the sales team. When they left I measured the space and I really don't see it as that much of an issue. Called the showroom, the girl told me they don't offer the zip and link because it's more expensive...errr I'll be the judge as to whether I can afford that thank you. Was then Directed to customer service...who realistically were supposed to call me, but never.

My husband and I spoke to them. I have never experience such appalling customer service in my life, all they do is spout procedure to you. They cannot help, offer solution,or put you in touch with anyone that can make a decision....it's a classic 'computer says no situation'.

The girl who spoke to my husband pretty much told him to all our fault and became obtrusive. The girl I spoke to obviously had no intention of helping....the drivers will not come back was the basic response. I was told to email....which I have and there has been no response.

As far as I can see the company is obviously making too much money that they don't give a toss about the customer, so with that in mind we asked for a refund....which we were denied...the system is down....we have to call back tomorrow!

I ordered a King bed and chose their suggested mattress to go with it, as well as two bedside tables - all looks lovely, but the mattress is EXACTLY the same size as the bed frame, meaning that it's impossible to make up properly - the mattress can only be fitted by shoving tight under the headboard and is snug right up to the sides of the frame. So once in, there's no way to lift it to get a fitted sheet under and flat sheets have to be just prised in (scraped fingers) here and there - very untidy. I complained over the phone and by email and was asked to measure everything and supply them with these measurements. They insisted that everything was "within normal parameters" and wouldn't take things any further to correct the issue.



I would have thought that a mattress should be a couple of centimetres or so smaller all around to ensure that it can actually be used properly in the bed frame. Would advise some caution - quality of construction is good, but the mattress is suffering from being so tight already.

Have had the most awful, upsetting experience with Warren Evans. We ordered a bed with them 3 weeks ago and was given today as our delivery date. Having received a follow up email yesterday confirming delivery beteeen 11.00-14.00 myself and my partner dismantled and disposed of our old bed and took today off work ready for the bed to arrive. Come 14.00 and no bed we called and called and called both the customer service number and the Hammersmith store we purchased it from. Finally someone answered and told me they had gone into liquidation and she would call me back with more info. Whilst awaiting her call back we did some research to find out they went into liquidation a few days ago, yes still sent a delivery time slot email yesterday. She called back and said our bed hasn’t been put on the lorry today, they wouldn’t be delivering it and wouldn’t be offering us a refund. I have contacted the bank as luckily this was purchased in credit card but they are now in a 45 day dispute whilst we have to wait nervously to find out if we will get our £600 back, plus we have no bed to sleep on and have both wasted a days holiday. A completely awful and stressful situation to be in.

Drivers of a Warren Evans delivery van WX66 APV nearly wrote off my car in Southend this afternoon. The driver was on the phone at the time and just laughed at me.

No wonder they are going out of business if that's the type of staff they employ.

Have had the most awful, upsetting experience with Warren Evans. We ordered a bed with them 3 weeks ago and was given today as our delivery date. Having received a follow up email yesterday confirming delivery beteeen 11.00-14.00 myself and my partner dismantled and disposed of our old bed and took today off work ready for the bed to arrive. Come 14.00 and no bed we called and called and called both the customer service number and the Hammersmith store we purchased it from. Finally someone answered and told me they had gone into liquidation and she would call me back with more info. Whilst awaiting her call back we did some research to find out they went into liquidation a few days ago, yes still sent a delivery time slot email yesterday. She called back and said our bed hasn’t been put on the lorry today, they wouldn’t be delivering it and wouldn’t be offering us a refund. I have contacted the bank as luckily this was purchased in credit card but they are now in a 45 day dispute whilst we have to wait nervously to find out if we will get our £600 back, plus we have no bed to sleep on and have both wasted a days holiday. A completely awful and stressful situation to be in.

Drivers of a Warren Evans delivery van WX66 APV nearly wrote off my car in Southend this afternoon. The driver was on the phone at the time and just laughed at me.

No wonder they are going out of business if that's the type of staff they employ.
