£500,000 raised through Tommy's Splashathon! 👀🎉👐 What an achievement! Well done to everyone who has taken part so far in the bonanza up and down the U.K. All of your hard work and dedication is helping to give couples the support they need in their darkest hour. So thank you, thank you, thank you!

As of today, Splashathon has raised well over £300,000 for Tommy's. Sadly, 1 in 4 pregnancies result in miscarriage but the money raised by all of you can help immensely.
This amount of money could help fund the Tommy’s National Centre for Miscarriage Research for 6 months. The centre currently supports over 24,000 couples per year, making it a pillar of strength in many couple's darkest hour. We are absolutely humbled by the generosity that our fabulous clients and staff have shown us in recent months - thank you, thank you, thank you! 🎉👐

Wow! SE London Water Babies have already raised £2000 for Splashathon! Thank you so much for your generosity..we can't tell you how much it means :) Splash is running for a week during your lesson from 22nd June! x

Swimming is one of the best forms of exercise there is, as well as being a great way to have fun together. But don't take our word for it, just look at these little'uns go! 🏆💪🐋

Who would we be without our amazing teachers? We certainly wouldn’t be the world’s number one international baby swimming school.
Sisters Kerri and Saira are both phenomenal Water Babies teachers... But they’re family first. From the age of 18 Kerri has had a passion for teaching, spending the warmer seasons teaching swimming to young children and adults then spending her winters on the mountains bringing snowboarding to the masses. Her sister Saira could also be found chill...ing as she worked at an ice rink part-time while studying for her bachelor’s degree in psychology, before moving on to do a master’s in clinical psychology.
Of the two, Kerri’s Water Babies journey began first when she took her son to one of our classes. Having so much fun in class and getting a glimpse into the life and times of a Water Babies teacher, Kerri was hooked. “When a job came up I jumped at the chance to join the Water Babies team.” The fun rubbed off on Saira, too; “My sister used to talk about her job teaching for Water Babies and it always sounded amazing. When a job came up, I just had to follow suit!”.
Shortly after joining us, they both began to reap the rewards of teaching this essential life skill. Working with parents and carers during their initial steps into parenthood, they have both embraced the positive challenges that the role brings.
“Watching a baby blow bubbles for the first time, kick their legs for the first time, jump in, swim five metres, collect a dive hoop from the pool floor... it’s amazing being part of a journey with so many milestones!” – Saira
“The first time they smile at them in the water to seeing it light up again the first time they swim across the pool and so many times in between, it’s so special to be able to share those moments.” – Kerri
It’s not unusual for these bright moments of joy to occur in a Water Babies class. We’re focused on providing an environment where you can learn and have fun with your little one, making all of these immeasurable benefits a joy to take hold of.
“But most of all, it doesn’t feel like work! We’re preventing drowning, promoting water safety, and having a whole lot of fun at the same time!” – Saira
When Saira’s not in the pool you can find her indulging in her favourite past-times, “Avoiding standing on plastic toys, taking batteries out of my child’s annoying toys, and drinking cold coffee”. 😂 While Kerri’s natural habitat is chasing after an incredibly energetic five year old who can often be found “Exploring the depths of the woods, surfing, bike riding and occasionally jumping off mountains so I’m usually traipsing behind with the water, plasters and snacks!” 🚵‍♂️💪
