Lovely Tearoom /Cafe on site food is lovely. Market Harborough short ride away from the site with everything you need. Visited the cafe a few times when walking the dog or as in yesterday the grandchildren. A nice stop off point. Friendly staff and good selection of cakes and drinks, clean.

Stopped for breakfast and coffee on Mt walk from Lands End to John O'groats...

Ordered "The Duke" and a quad shot coffee...

The plate was huge, cooked with love to a high standard. I just managed to finish it.

Lovely staff and great location!

Lovely quite site! Clean and tidy and staff are friendly. Could do with a space for the kids but you can't magically put an extra field in so that's that! Kids have loved it regardless x

User

Lovely place we enjoyed our fishing in the family lake so good. We cought loads of fish and everything was great.

User

User

Just back from another lovely break, we stay here at least once a year, great walks, fishing and weather this year. Great for some well needed down time not too far from home.

User

It's an amazing place, the managers/owners are very helpful and friendly, they even catered for my friends wedding when she held the reception there. They made her day extremely special. The site itself is lovely and quiet and we really enjoy every stay there.

User

I have been coming here for a few year now,and always bring my friends along, who are amazed, but for me, today was the best,I managed to time my visit while the combining was taking place and took a few pics which I have shared on F/B.such a tranquil place..

User

Great place (best shower to date,) fishing great, cafe good coffee and cake . Not too keen on the red shale used for the hardstanding everything else ended up the same colour Will be back though.

User

Enjoyed our stay, fishing very good,we had lakeside pitch which was excellent, food in café very good, friendly staff,we now have this on our list for another visit soon

User

Been on BVW numerous times now and I must cycle with my eyes shut or something, because I never even knew this place was here. The tea room is not flash or pretentious (exactly what I like), and they do a delicious bacon sandwich and a nice hot cappuccino. Very friendly service, warm and welcoming. Will definitely be cycling more on BVW now I've found this little gem.

User

Been coming for three years now like the convenience of been so close to market harborough and the peace of the country side, the nice tearoom and its staff, the easy access to the Brampton valley way, also the added bonus of been on the Adults Only side of the complex

in the last week on Google

Feel the latest review was a little harsh, yes there are potholes ( there are on a number of our roads throughout the country) but to be fair to the site the weather has been a huge factor resulting in said potholes and mud, hopefully the site will get on top of things and will be back to its normal self a nice peaceful relaxed site.

Just spent 6 days at Waterloo and I can honestly say I won’t be back. The pitch was covered in inches of goose poo , it was everywhere. Not just my pitch but the whole lakeside site. I asked for a broom but they said no we’ll do it . 3 hrs later they came , swept the fishing peg and a bit of grass next to it and left. Was told we have to expect it as it is a nature reserve .. erm no it’s not it’s a caravan site that people pay good money for. The drains were blocked so smelt bad and that combined with the poo created a swarm of flies. The whole site is quite untidy and could be really good if they would invest some money into it.

On the plus side the staff were very polite and helpful. There is a great walk along the old railway track which is good for dogs.

The facilities were clean and plenty of hot water for showers

Although we never used it , the restaurant looked very clean and inviting.

User

Just been for the week end at lake side pitches but not very happy to see so many dead and dying fish all bream and roach and to see staff getting them out with a net and putting them in a bin not a nice site hope that the carp don't get sick as well

User

I know the Easter weather was against us, site could do with a few improvements, 2 of the 4 main showers not working, and electric hook up problems, kept loosing power to the van, road way and hard standings needs some work, but the cafe was good great home cooked food, and well priced, nice walks,
