About Waverley Carriage Driving Rda

Waverley Carriage Driving RDA is a Hertfordshire group governed by the Riding for the Disabled Association.

Waverley Carriage Driving Rda Description

The Waverley Carriage Driving RDA group exists to provide opportunities for people with pan disabilities to experience and enjoy the outdoor sport of carriage driving.

Our trustworthy ponies, Blue and Jack, use two and four wheeled carriages to take clients out around the beautiful countryside of Radlett in Hertfordshire, and are always grateful of a carrot or two! The 'boys' as we call them are incredibly well behaved, and instinctively know when a client is new or feels nervous. Their calm temperament makes them the perfect companion for any disabled person.

Led by Maureen Keegan, the group is run by a dedicated team of volunteers. Our drivers, walkers and administration staff all give their time generously, but we are always happy to accept more help! If you can spare a couple of hours a month, we would love to hear from you.
