There are so many sports out there for kids and parents to choose from and these choices can often be difficult to make. All sports will give your kid transferable skills, however, the most important thing is that children are active and enjoy the sport of their choice as this has a lasting impact on their development. ✅✅✅
In our new blog we discuss the benefits of football and all the different advantages your child can gain from playing football. ⚽⚽⚽

Primary School plays such an important role in a child’s development as it is from the age of 5 to 11 that they will be introduced to new activities and challenged on a daily basis through the learning of academic and social fundamentals. Sport and physical activity play a monumental role in their education. ⚽⚽⚽
Sports will not only help your child develop key skills such as balance, strength, coordination, movement, speed or agility. But it will also allow them to develop important life skills such as team work, communication, coping under pressure and dealing with adversity. 🙌🙌🙌
For more of an insight into Primary School Football Coaching and how it can help your child take a read of our new blog: https://www.wemakefootballers.com/footbal l-coaching-primar…/ 😁😁😁

A big part of how We 'Make' Footballers, is partnering with local grassroots teams. We look after their 4-6 year olds, then pick a team and parent coach to start as their first U7 side. These U7s will hopefully go on and stay at the club until they are U18! ⚽⚽⚽
With this work we find we become integral in the football development journey and are able to build up football in our local communities. The other benefit is that our players gain valuable match experience playing for a team rather than just training, which will hopefully lead to them picking up football as a life time sport!! 😁😁😁

The Cruyff Turn, you will see it performed across the globe at all levels of football. This is due to the fact that it's a brilliant, yet simple, manoeuvre for losing opponents and changing the direction quickly. 🏃‍♀️🌍🏃
Therefore, here at WMF, we believe it is a skill that every young footballer should have in their arsenal, if you don't, and if you want to learn how to master it for yourself take a look at our latest blog!!! ⚽⚽⚽

Skills take practice, hard work, creativity and self-confidence. ⚽⚽
Many children will start to play competitive football between 6 and 8 years old. Before they get started in the game it is vital that they develop their ball manipulation and skill on the ball. 🏃🏃‍♀️
WMF has therefore written a short blog/guide on the best skills for a player to learn and develop between 6-8 years old. ✍✍

Very professional approach in teaching football to kids

User

Top quality coaching, good times and a great atmosphere at the summer camp. My 11 year old had a fantastic week in Lampton. Thanks!

User

The best football academy in the world!!

User

Thankfully we were steered toward WMF when we began contacting local teams when my son was 5. Ted has spent the last year attending both weekly training and most camps and now thanks to WMF he will be playing for a great local team next season. We have attended other camps which were all good but undoubtedly WMF are exceptional. The coaches are so talented and genuinely engaged in both instruction of the game and nurturing of the players. My son now refers to Marcelo as his favourite player - above Messi!! I have recommended WMF to other parents and we look forward to another year with the WMF family.

User

Phenomenal group of coaches, not only can they train and push your child to excel they do it in a way that kids really enjoy themselves. Our boys really enjoy the group and they have become ace Footballers x

User

Opening WMF Academy in Ashford was the best thing that could happen to my son the best coaching staff in the world! Keep going with the incredible work you do with our children

User

My son started his football journey at wmf at the age of 4, he's flourished under the guidance of great coaches lead by Sean, Marcelo and Iuri. He's been training with professional academies for a couple of years now but still loves to attend the wmf football camps. Without doubt, if your children like playing football, this is the place to bring them..

User

My son loved these sessions. We found them very welcoming and his confidence grew whilst having fun. I would recommend it to any parent. Also found it really good value for money

User

I couldn't ask for better Football Academy for my kids.
