I tend to stop at these services a lot over the past few years and have been served by Helen in Starbucks many times. She has consistently been bubbly, and gives exemplary service with a smile every single time. Sometimes she'll make order suggestions, she'll make conversation, she's efficient and she always pronounces my name right and remembers it throughout my order! I only wish more of the staff in all Starbucks were like her as my experience in some of their other coffee shops has been mixed and some staff could probably do with extra training in customer service. Something I feel Helen would be ideal to deliver to other employees. I feel she should be used as example of what a Starbucks employee should like to make the customer feel valued and make that quick interaction of grabbing a coffee on the go that much more pleasant. So much so, that it has compelled me to put this in writing so I hope she receives the recognition she so rightly deserves.

Clean, friendly and great choice of food. I'd particularly recommend the Harry's breakfast and their fish and chips! We live locally and by boys love going.

Northbound is very poor, toilets there are not the best and I had to use my bag to hold the door shut as the lock didn't work! Subway don't give you a chance to see what's on offer An felt rushed An ended up paying over £15 just for 2 rolls an 2 drinks! Only that we had our 2 special needs kids we would have gone over the bridge!

Southbound much better brighter toilets cleaner and more variety of food on offer altho Harry ramsdens food was quite poor An the self service at KFC were not working properly yet no notice on them! Staff in Starbucks on both sides are an absolute pleasure each time we travel.

Excellent place for a quick stop and bite to eat.

Not much parking for hgv's. Had to use coach bay's to take a break

Very expensive 12.20 for 2 subways and 2 teas and 2.95 for a bag of sweets absolutely disgusting.

Services generally are not bad ,but the toilets are smelly & dirty & when you have to pay for parking when the car park is empty is ridiculous as when your driving 400 miles a day you do occasionally fall asleep for longer than 2 hours

I struggle to find the justification in charging for this

But overall the place Isn't bad

Parked overnight in my truck. Boxed in. Front and back. Carnage if there was a fire. Charged 27 quid for the privilage.

Not the best services to visit at 3am Sunday morning. The toilets were freezing cold!

what an absolute joke of a place....payed to park my truck for the night..silvia the waste of space served me...pay for her to go on a people skills seminar...sorry we have no vouchers left you'll have to come back in half an hour...shove your halogen warmed shit up your arse....woke up had my curtains slashed...fooking joke of a place dont bother staff are rude unhelpfull talk to you like you are dirt and definately dont park a curtain sider in there paying for security its on par with the food utter shite...wont be visiting again

Not the best discount for staff members or for the Emergency services.

Southbound lorry park too small, 7 lanes, space for about 10 trucks. As a consequence there are lorries queuing and parking on the service roads or around the filling station forecourt.

2 cars towing caravans were parked in the coach park taking up all the space there.

The main building and toilets were clean.

Services? Are you having a laugh? Needs closing down and a complete rebuild.

Queued at KFC for 40 mins at 10pm with my partner and small child to be told they had no chicken. Sent the other side where the queue was even longer and another 45 min wait. Seating area was filthy dirty. Son bought toy out of machine to cheer him up, item was broken and covered in unknown liquid. GROSS!

Just under £10 for burger, chips and a coke. Robbing dogs but they have a captive audience!

Dick Turpin didn't rob driver's like these do £27 just to park up over night no food etc included

Bastards. For a parking fine for being 20 mins over the 2 hours, spending money in your service station. Going a bit over two hours, nothing actually happens, it doesn’t hurt anyone, annoy anyone or cost anyone or you money. Now your charging me £60 for FUCK ALL. Fucking pricks
