Equality for women isn’t a women’s issue. When women fulfil their potential, everyone benefits. Equality means better politics, a more vibrant economy, a workforce that draws on the talents of the whole population and a society at ease with itself.
The Women’s Equality Party is a non-partisan force in British politics uniting people of all ages, backgrounds, ethnicities, beliefs and experiences in the shared determination to see women enjoy the same rights and opportunities as men so that both can flourish.

It really is time to change. Look at equal representation, look at the things that matter: climate, poverty, education, ending violence against women and girls, getting the Tech CO's to pay taxes, you know the sorts of things that bug the hell out of you and me!! And I'm sick of them and their damned expenses. That money could help all of the things that really matter to us.

Sadly no WEP on my ballot sheet for Yorkshire and Humber 😞. But I’ve cast my vote for a Party promoting Remain AND the environment. Two out of three of my top requirements for politicians (the other being gender equality). Plus I do NOT advocate ‘just getting on with Brexit’ and it’s likely this election will make that clear.
