Westfield Jet Ski Lake

Just a reminder, it’s the UKVJS jet ski meet this weekend, so for any members not part of the meet, there will be no jet skiing allowed unfortunately, this includes Saturday, Sunday and Monday. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but it is an event that has been booked for awhile. However you are all welcome to pop by and see what goes on 😊

Westfield lake will still be opening for jet skiing as originally planned on the 3rd April. There will be a few slight changes. The main change will be membership, to jetski at Westfield you will now need to be a member, the prices are as followed:
... Seasonal membership £360 a year (1st apr-31st Oct) this is for 1x rider and 1x Jetski.
Extra riders (family members) £20 a year per rider.
Extra riders (non family) £10 a day per rider.
Extra skis £60 each a year.

Evening all. This planning application notice is for Westfield Lake to get full planning permission for the lake to remain open. You can read all the ins and outs of it on the notice. Basically what would be really helpful is if you would take a few minutes of your time to send comments to ERYC about the Lake. How far you travel to use it and why. If you use and local businesses etc. You can mention how the lake is kept etc but not mention Hazel and Mike personally. Thanks once again xxx

Well that’s it for 2018. What a lovely summer we’ve all had and a lake full of lovely people, some new and some good old loyal friends. Plenty of laughs, personally I’ve only had to get my ear defenders on once ( aw no maybe twice thanks to Mr T ! ). Mikes grass has survived so he’s happy 😃 We have also had some sadness 😔 as most of you already know we lost our lovely little Sonny. We still haven’t got over this. Seeing Mike and Sonny together in the mule made everyone smile.... He was definitely mans best friend and that man was Mike. Thanks for all your support and messages we received during that time. A special thanks to John and Sue for giving us some time and unconditional support. We are also very lucky to have our resident skiers who have become our extended family. This closed time will give us some time to spend a little more time with them. We would like to thank them for all their support and help they have given throughout this year. Thanks too to Dickie and Sam and all the UKVJS crew it’s been a pleasure having you here. Now it’s time for us to recharge our batteries and see our family a bit more xxxx

Well forks it’s that time of year again. The Lake will close on Sunday 21st October for the Winter months. We will be closed throughout November, December and January. We would like to thank you all for your custom this year and look forward to another great summer. 😊😊😊 Please feel free to share.
