On Monday 2nd July, Ibrahim Dogus, our director, received a Commendation from Simon Messinger, the Borough Commander. In his speech, Ibrahim said ‘ I am delighted to accept the commendation not for myself, but on behalf of all of the people who came together when Parliament was attacked. My team at my restaurant were pleased to give out food and drink. But so many people stepped up on that day: Parliamentary staff, passers-by, and of course our brilliant emergency services. ...
I came to this country in the 1994. I am proud to be British and to serve as an elected councillor. I am proud of our values of democracy and tolerance. I am proud that when terrorists try to divide us, Londoners come together and become one city. I am proud we haven’t forgotten the ‘Blitz spirit’.
And I am especially proud of our police and emergency services, thank you for all that you do to keep us safe, no matter the danger, no matter the cost.’

Went here by chance after visiting the London eye.... must say is one of the best food I have had in a long time, it was so good me and my partner came back the next day. I had the ribeye steak which was cooked to perfection. The service is amazing especially from Ali who made us feel welcome. I will 100% recommend this place

We ate here with our children and the staff were very friendly, Ali was particularly keen to ensure we were happy and our food was good, the service was excellent and the food came very quickly, it was hot and delicious and reasonably priced, we would definitely visit again.

This is perfect for any time of the day! Great value for the money and excellent service! The portions were very generous! Not sure what other reviewers are ordering to say small portions! Tried the roasted 1/2 chicken and it was more than enough for us to share and the caprese salad was giant! And delicious! The location is superb - right by the London eye, Big Ben, Westminster Abby! It’s great!!!! U won’t be sorry. Thanks to the whole staff for a lovely afternoon.

I have now been twice, once for lunch with my husband and the second time on my own. Both times we/I have been very well looked after. I came in on my own for an evening meal, I had my crutch with me and I was seated where my crutch would not be a problem for anyone or a a hazard. I had the Goulash both times and I love it. The price is about right for that area of London. I would certainly come again.

Good food, great music and friendly service.

Brilliant food with plenty of vegetarian options for me.

Hubby can be quite particular about the quality of meat but the mixed grill he ordered was very much to his liking and cooked to perfection.



The service was friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant was welcoming. We would definitely eat here again

3 times I've been to this restaurant, the food is perfect and so is the customer service / location

Went for my boys birthday ( age 7 ) not good at all and manager couldn’t understand food was greasy, over cooked and like a kebab

This is the worst steak house I’ve ever been to. And I’ve been to a Berni Inn.



The service was abysmal. The waiter wanted me to have a bottle of ketchup, when I refused it he practically argued with me that I needed it for my chips. I told him no several times before he walked off in a strop. Another waiter (possibly head waiter) acted like he just wanted to get me in and out as quickly as possible.



The steak was over cooked. I asked for it medium, but what I got was almost well done.



The peppercorn sauce was so thin it was more like gravy. And not a very nice gravy at that.



I had to wait a considerable amount of time from asking for the bill to getting it.



The best thing about my whole experience was closing the door on my way out.



The fact that it was empty when surrounding restaurants seemed to be very busy should have been a major sign to keep away.

Terrible service, would not advise anyone to visit.Not something you would expect to find in the heart of London City. The food was not done at all, the drinks had a weird taste and the service was terrible as the waiters and the personnel lacked manners and basic training. One of the waiters started getting my son’s plate while he was eating, and he was not even finished. I do not even know why she came there. Another waiter on his way outside shouted at two customers to move while she was definitely in their way. Very rude. The toilets were in the most awful condition. Not even public toilets are in such a bad state.



DO NOT VISIT FOLKS, for your own safety You will be disgusted!

I don't like leaving negative reviews as I know how they can harm a business but this was not a good experience. "Ribeye" was so thin it was impossible to cook to taste (medium rare). Accompanied by frozen chips and peppercorn sauce that could be bounced off the floor. Kids meal straight from the freezer. Brownie ordered for kids' dessert was full of nuts, which was not advised on the menu. The manager advised that they were instigating a new menu but this is downright dangerous. Toilet was filthy.

Extremely disappointed! Me and my partner came here for breakfast while we were spending the weekend in london. Looked like a lovely place to eat from the outside. We were shocked to find that the drinks had been advertised as coca cola and fanta were in fact cheap unbranded pop and tasted flat! On top of this the heinz tomato sauce containers had been refilled with another unbranded value alternative. We were also disappointed to find that the "toast" that came with the "english breakfast" we had ordered was nothing more than flat/pitta bread. On top of all of this the service was poor not once did the staff say please or thankyou and also added service charge to the bill without our knowledge. Would never come back here again!!!

Awful service. Cold plates. Cold food. Horrible woman serving us! If my family wasn’t with me I would of complained heavily. Disgusting!
