Whats On came along to Whistle Punks recently. Check out their awesome review here: http://ow.ly/vbwM30loFf4

Jesse, one of our awesome instructors, showing how it's done. #schoolingus

A perfectly timed photo of the two axes hanging in mid-air.

Scenes from the Whistle Punks HQ social night Mallets & Hoops last night. It got uncomfortably #competitive. Would highly recommend heading down to play #croquet with Mallet's and Hoops at the Oxo Tower Wharf.

Throwing two axes #likeaboss.

The tireless efforts of our ops team have meant that we are now 'Living Wage' Accredited. The #LivingWage provides a benchmark for responsible #employers who pay their employees a rate that meets the cost of living in the UK and London.

Instructor's gonna #instruct.

#BBC news did a piece on competitive socialising last week. Apparently it's the new big thing (we've been saying it for years) with people wanting to spend money on experiences rather than objects. Check out the video here: http://ow.ly/4joA30lhqJx

Did you see #whistlepunks on the #BBC news last night? Here's a picture with a very accurate run-down of what Jools said.

A well earned #victory for Ryan in our most recent #league. Enjoy the axe!

User

After four #leagues, not missing a single session, Ryan's dedication has finally paid off. After an #epic battle he managed to defeat the reigning #champion not once, but twice, in what will go down as one of the most lengthy and close finals in Whistle Punks history.

Getting some last minute #coaching from Simon, one of our lovely instructors.

had a fantastic time with my friend, staff very helpful and I enjoyed throwing axes more that I thought, would love to go back and try again. Good fun. Thanks

Went here for the first time as a birthday present from my wife. It was a great way for us to spend a Sunday morning. Our instructor Will was awesome, really patient and offered lots of tips and tricks on where to improve. The group size was really good and we all got plenty of practice throws before a really fun competition. The hall of fame was a really good idea. We had some time left over at the end so got to do some different bits like throwing 2 axes at once and trying to throw the axe under handed. It was an awesome experience and I will definitely be going back, and aiming to beat my last score and get another one on the wall.

Went as a group for a birthday party and it was so much fun. The staff are very helpful and look after you, offering you advice throughout the session. It's a really fun activity to do with a group of people, especially if you like a bit of competition. Would definitely recommend it if you've never tried it before

User

We went as a small group and I was a bit worried when we were mixed up with other people in a lane of 12, but our instructor, Simon (definitely not Alfonso!) got everyone really involved and the other guys there were loads of fun too. There is a bit of waiting around while other people throw, but if you get into the competition and watch how everyone throws, it flys by. At first I thought we wouldn't get enough throws cos of all the people, but by the end, my shoulder was aching! We got an extra round in the tournament, and those of us who didn't make it through to the finals still got to do some trick shots at the end. I would definitely recommend whistlepunks to anyone. I didn't score so highly, but still had an amazing time.

The best surprise 30th birthday present for my girlfriend, then 2 good friends turned up that she didn't know I'd organised to come.

Convenient location about 3 mins walk from the tube at Vauxhaul.

The people there are so helpful and friendly.

You get trained in the basics first and then they'll give you little hints and tips as you go on.

The group of us will certainly be going again and more will be joining us when we do.

I'd highly recommend it!

My boyfriend & I went axe throwing this afternoon as a Christmas present & we had an awesome time! The staff were very friendly & welcoming. Our instructor Ali was very good & gave us individual guidance to improve our technique. He was also very patient as I wouldn't describe myself as a natural! The venue is easy to find being close to Vauxhall station. Great fun, highly recommended.

Who knew throwing an axe could feel so good!

User

Loved it! Can't wait to come back and do it again! Highly recommend for any group..big or small! Xx

User

It was great time, I had fun, but could have used a little bit more throwing time ( I mean smaller groups), but I can only recommend the place!

User

I went with a group for a friend's birthday in London and instructed by Simon who was really good and informative. Great instruction throughout. A brilliant way to start off a good night out and very reasonable prices for the amount of throwing you get. We all had a great time and will definitely go again. Topped off by me winning our group and getting onto the wall of fame.

Thanks for a great night Whistle Punks

User

I was at the London branch of Whistle Punks on Thursday with a group of work colleagues for a team night out. At first we were a little apprehensive but in no time at all our instructor Jesse had us at ease.

We were soon throwing axes one handed, two handed and even two axes at once!!! One of our team hit a 7 and proudly rang the bell while another reached the wall of fame.

The facilities at Whistle Punks are simple but great, the staff are very friendly and will give you all the help you need to get those axes hitting their mark.

I would definitely recommend Whistle Punks for a group event be it with friends or work colleagues. I'll definitely be going back at some point!

Thanks for a great night everyone!!

User

I had an absolutely fantastic time! The instructor was very friendly and helped you along the way to try and get you to hit the target. Even though I missed most of the time it didn’t matter because you were routing for your team mates.

User

I attended the Manchester branch with my friend Tim yesterday. And even though we weren't the best, lol, we had an absolute blast. Our instructor was really good and the group we were in were all great fun. I'll be going back again in January with other friends!! Thanks so much for an great experience. Great value for money too

User

Great place to spend a couple of hours

Good fun and friendly staff, no matter how good or bad you think you maybe give it a go as the instructors make it easy for you

You may even get on the wall of fame - I did and was pleasantly surprised

Well done guys great place

User

Great fun! None of the group had ever been before but we all really enjoyed it.

The instructors, Simon & Patrick, were both lovely & friendly, Simon was particularly patient! Thank you!

Great soundtrack in the background too.

Would recommend for a night out with a group of friends or as a work event.

User

Fantastic bloody fun will do it a million and one times, will never get board a real experience great stuff great fun!!!!! 10/10

User

Fabulous experience. If you are looking for something different in London, this is the place to go. Love it!!

User

Booked it for a group of 4 and bloody loved it. I felt like the warrior princess that I always knew I could be. Simon gave advice and tips all the way through the practice rounds which made sure I was nailing the target every time (I didn’t, but he tried hard) Absolutely will come again. Need to beat my fourth place, thanks guys!

User

Absolutley cracking fun, had a great night there last night. I’ve been raving about it all day and will be bringing a group as soon as We can all arrange it.

User

HIya, Thank you for a fun time in a safe environment ( although standing directly behind the throwers arm is rather dodgy). Staff were very friendly.

Disappointed in the amount of time waisted standing around ,when other lanes were free, although on asking we did use a free lane.

Observations:- only one toilet,no hot drinks.dodgy coat hooks.

Value for money against time actually throwing was poor. Pity
