we thoroughly enjoyed our meal, excellent value for money, large portions and the staff were attentive and helpful, highly recommended by me :-)

We stayed two nights here, had breakfast and dinner twice along with drinks. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the food was fantastic!! I would recommend this place to everybody! The manager Nathan is extremely friendly and welcoming! He made our last night here more fun than we ever expected!!!

Also we learned that Nathan has just taken over as manager so if you’ve had a bad experience in the past I would definitely recommend that you give it another chance!

We live in the village and often pop in for a drink or dinner. New management have recently taken over and they are so friendly and helpful. They are really family friendly and do their best to help. The pub garden is great especially when the sun is shining ! Recently the pub put on entertainment, we went to Blobbie Williams and Freddie Mercury, both were great and it is so nice to go somewhere local that is friendly, fun and serves good food !

Staff very pleasant...... food was really nice and very filling... room was exactly what we needed... yeah.... well done guys...

Not 5 star by any stretch, but we absolutely loved it here. Basic accommodation but very important to us, clean. Comfortable bed in which we slept very well. Pub was very good, food good and service excellent. Breakfast this morning was a delight. The chap who attended to us was great company and very attentive. All in all a great experience and we would highly recommend.

Just been to this pub for Sunday dinner . It was exceptional. Really enjoyed it and the chocolate brownie was yummy . Oh and the staff were very attentive and welcoming . Thanks to Samuel. We will be coming back. �

I live in Chalfont St Giles and have the choice of 3 local pubs. I am always drawn towards the White Hart. The new management have been doing a tremendous job bringing a lot more energy and life back into the pub. The staff are super friendly and can’t do too much to help you out. They have recently had some very successful organised events like Robbie Williams, Blues Brothers and Freddie Mercury tribute acts which were great. They have a lovely big beer garden at the back of there property. The best thing about the pub is that everyone in the pub is very family friendly. The food is really good too especially the Sunday Roast. Keep up the good work team.

Had a great night down the Hart. Chatting to a fellow film & TV editor. Small world. The garlic chilli prawn starter is to die for.

Wouldn't recommend coming to eat here, poor service, food killed microwave style & totally unreasonable new manager....spend your money elsewhere CSG people...

I was meeting friends for a lunch. The restaurant side was empty when we got there (which is not a good sign). We were not looking for anything too posh or fancy, but it did seem warm welcoming. On ordering one of our friends asked about certain foods on the menu... there was a blank expression on their face, had not really any idea what was written on the menu (actually looked a bit embarrassed about it) .. they said they would ask the chef and let us know but didn't come back. The food wasn't too bad but could be improved. Having squeezy sauce bottles made it feel more like a fast food/transport cafe.

But the company for lunch outweighed everything.

Very limited menu on a sunday despite main menu saying available everyday, only given lunch menu and told 'it's down to the manager'. Very quiet for a sunday. We were only ones in there at 1pm. A few groups came but went straight out after seeing menu option. Desert menu was given to us ripped from the main menu. Childrens roast doesn't come with roast potatos. Icecream not thawed, full of ice. Waiter seemed very dismissive and rude whenever we asked anything. Won't be going there again!

Recently ate here, food was still served frozen, manager was a complete prick and said he can't do nothing about it and was still charged the full price if the meal although we didn't eat it! Awful place very dissapointed chip shop next door is fantastic tho

I used to love the White Hart until today. It is a local pub and lovely pub. But I am not going to go there anymore because some of staff was very rude. I hate rude people. Shame on you!

Christmas lunch,pub wasn't busy,our bread sauce mix and cranberry sauces were placed on our table after we had eaten our meal after asking several times for them.the bar staff seemed to spend time doing very little and talking to the chef ,family member had several attempts at ordering a glass of wine which took 25 mins in a quiet pub just embarrassing so glad to leave....
