White Sails Black London is a snapshot of the eclectic, diverse and dangerous lives of Black Londoners in the 1700s.

A feature length drama, the opposite of a Jane Austen frock show, coming soon. Set in the 10, 000 strong black community of London in the 18th century. Based on real life characters, it follows the misadventures of Ignatius Sancho, ex-gambler, drinker and womaniser who became the first black man of letters; Julius Soubise, fencer and dandy and Chevalier Saint Georges violinist composer and revolutionary soldier. A journey through the underground black dance and music scene in Georgian London, featuring sails, slavery and rap style violin duels.
