Whitechapel is a small, independent T-shirt brand brought to you by Meryl Fernandes, Mama to baby girl Freddie O. Both Freddie and Meryl were born in Whitechapel and now live in London Fields, East London.
Obsessed with t-shirts (in general) and baby fashion Meryl decided to set up her own unisex T-shirt club offering up five individual designs all inspired by Freddie's favourite things. From ice creams and pigeons to shoes and sausages!
All our t-shirts are made from 100% O...eko-Tex certified cotton - (certifications: OEKOTEX, BSCI & SEDEX)
Our artwork is what we believe makes us a little different, we use a mix of handpainted patterns and paper collage. We use inks to create different textures which we combine with a soft palette, we then cut out the illustrations and the shapes and arrange to create each individual design.
All our t-shirt are gift wrapped in our bespoke tissue paper and all our t-shirt packaging is recyclable and/or biodegradable.
