What an extraordinary experience watching the rather spectacular Tiger Liilies in this unique venue . A wonderful start to our anniversary weekend

User

We saw A Box of Delights a week ago today. It was the most magical experience! Wilton's is a unique place and with all its quirkiness was the perfect setting for this enchanting play. I recommend a visit to Wilton's with all it has to offer. We will definitely be visiting again.

User

We just saw The Box of Delights. I have to say what an awesome theatre! Pizzas were ace. Ale brewed with sloes! A fantastic ambiance to the place making it somewhere to gladly come in out of the cold.

The performance was fantastic by the entire cast, getting us right in the seasonal mood. Not having read the story it was great to see a different interpretation to the 80s tv series. I have to say though, Matthew Kelly channeled both his Patrick Troughton AND his Sir Robert Stephens with aplomb.

What got me most was the excellent use of the vertical stage space. Sat in the front row (sorry, those behind me, im well over 6 feet tall) i was craning my neck a lot, but that's a good thing. It made up for the lack of space on the deck. I Loved it.

Bravo, Wilton's!

User

We came to see La Tragedie de Carmen and had a wonderful time. The performance was riveting and the music was glorious from all. Especially from Aigul Akhmetshina who was perfect in the title role as a nihilistic, bored and dangerous, to herself as well as others, Carmen. We had a nice glass of wine in the Mahogany Bar too.

User

We are so lucky to have Wilton’s located nearby, with something always going on. Saw Box of Delights last night which was truly wonderful. Thank you to the staff and the production team for such a great night.

User

Watched Zigger Zagger. Great play.Great cast. Friendly staff. Nice bar. Great seats with leg room in the front row. Watched the Friday matinee. A lovely way to spend an afternoon off work.

Only downside a fella took the spare seat beside me after the interval....and he stank of urine. Nothing anyone could do about that but it was euphemistically rather unpleasant...

User

The Box of Delights and what a delight it was. Everything I had hoped for and more. The use of puppets, space and lights was enchanting. Thank you all.

User

Such a challenging story to stage at the theatre, but you really pulled it off. I really wanted to share my love of the Box of Delights with my children; thank you for creating such a magical experience. The venue is an absolute gem - a great atmosphere. The cast were excellent. You even won over my stroppy thirteen year old who "doesn't like theatre" and was being a pain in the bum. Thanks again x

User

Saw Terrible infants last night. What an incredible performance in the perfect setting of Wilton’s. it was a truly magical experience. Thanks to all the amazing performers last night and all who work to make Wilton’s the great venue it is.

User

Like going back in time . Staff really friendly & helpful Production is amazing

User

Last Saturday our daughter Annemarie married Tommy in your beautiful music hall. Thank you everyone at Wiltons for making it an amazing day. All the staff at Wiltons are so friendly and helpful and that added to making the day a great success.

User

It’s a very poignant story if your life has been crossed with addiction. The interaction was enough to feel the lost soul called fred barns!!!

User

It's one of the most legendary places it's mysterious magical and like stepping back in time it's full of character. I adore wiltons it's a little gem. I've been there many times and never tyre of the place. it's beautiful many have tread those boards.

And I'm always fascinated by this theatre glad I know it now it's one of London's oldest theatres

to love it.

Also I would love to know the full history of the building and see backstage and have a little tour round to see more of it it's been restored now I believe we have to keep this as so many iconic buildings are gone or losing out to more flats sadly alot if the history of London must remain Where as so many have perished sadly.

User

I adore this place. The history, the renovations, the lovely staff and ambience, it's such an evocative experience to attend a show here! Watched Othello on 27.05.17, and it was quite simply the most incredible experience, the best performance of a Shakespere play that I've ever seen. The whole cast was mesmerising, the direction impeccable. Thank you for an astounding afternoon.

User

How magically amazing! I wish we'd seen The Box of Delights before, during and after Christmas as it conjured so many emotions! The set, stage and acting was really quite outstanding. I have to admit that I hadn't done my research and booked this as a present for my husband without knowing the line-up. We were both surprised as we didn't know what to expect and were astounded by Matthew Kelly's performance and that of Josephina Gabrielle, along with all the others. I'd visited Wilton's Music Hall before and will most certainly return. The atmosphere of the place, the history ingrained in the walls and the emotion evoked really did bring 2018 in with happy tears of childhood memories of The Box of Delights. A wonderful music hall of fame!

User

Great ambience here! The cutest place I've ever seen a show and I'd love to go back. I was lucky enough to be in the front row for The Reduced Shakespeare Company in this little place which was the ideal venue. Friendly, helpful staff and classic touches - one of London's hidden gems.

User

Came to see Songs for Nobodies this Saturday..Absolutely top class performance.. We visit Wiltons on a regular basis and there is always something different to tempt us! One of our favourite venues!

User

An exceptional venue for the Birmingham Contemporary Music Group's beautifully curated evening leading up to Peter Maxwell Davies 'Eight Songs for a Mad King'. The staff were incredibly helpful as, inspired by the the 3.00 performance, I invited my wife and sons to join me for the 7.30, eventually getting four returns seats for a sold out gig that I'd entirely given up hope of attending once, let alone twice in the same day.

What any venue wants to hear is those Arnie words - "I'll be back". Oh yes, no doubt about that.

User

A delightful staging of a much-loved childhood favourite, in the most engaging environment. Well worth the awkward journey there and a long, sodden walk home!
