**Important Update**
Due to current circumstances the band will be folding with the Overtown hall being closed on a Wednesday night. This has come around due to the Pipe Major accepting a bigger opportunity with another band.
The band has enjoyed the last 18 months in Overtown Community Centre and would personally like to thank Paul the caretaker for the excellent services he has provided.
... People that are still interested in joining the band should still contact 07766658146 as the same personal will be around with the new band which is based in Hamilton.

Some of the band members had a fantastic time playing at Morrisons in Wishaw today and we would like to thank everyone for their kind donations. We would also like to say a big thank you to the store manager Mark for getting in contact.

Had a lovely time piping at the Craigneuk Family Learning Centre today for the kids graduation. I'd like to thank both Lis Miller & Cathy Sweeney for asking me along and for their kind donation to the band.

The hall will be closed this coming Wednesday due to holidays. Practice will resume on the 16th of May 🎶

Band practice has been cancelled tonight due to weather. The hall will be open again next week as normal.

A reminder to all players that the band will be back on this Wednesday between 19:30 - 21:30 at Overtown Community Centre. I look forward to seeing you all and maybe some new faces too.

The last practice of the year took place last night. Practice begins again in January and your PM will confirm a date. Thanks to all the individual efforts in 2017 and for what has been a tough winter so far. Keep practicing as always and i’ll see you in the New Year ⛄️ ❄️

If any of the pipers are looking for a place to blow their chanter/ pipes on Monday night then come along to Calderbridge Primary School in Coltness from 7-9pm.

Slightly smaller turnout last night due to work commitments. The band are sounding great though and should be back to full strength next week. Any questions regarding new starts or existing players wanting to join contact 07766658146 for more details.

Another successful practice. Good to see new faces and old making an appearance. The door is always open.

Had a full band on the floor last night for the second week running. 10 pipers & 5 snare drummers, there was also 6 people learning the chanter and a new recruit learning the snare.
