Woodbury Practice Osteopaths Description
We are a team of 4 osteopaths based in South Woodford, North East London. We practice privately and have an NHS contract for Redbridge PCT, offering appointments 6 days a week.
We are part of Body Balance, a large osteopathic group of 11 practitioners over 3 sites in Essex and East London.
We are registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOSC) and are covered by all the major health insurance companies including BUPA.
At our South Woodford practice we have
Kate Perkins, BSc (Hons) Ost. Kate graduated 12 years ago from the European School of Osteopathy. Soon after graduating she studied Dry Needling and implemented this immediately into her practice, finding it a very useful tool to complement osteopathy. She practices mainly on people but sees the occasional horse and dog too!
Kate Belle-Fortune, BSc (Hons) Ost Med DO ND qualified 8 years ago from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine where she also studied Naturopathy. She too studied Dry Needling and has been at Woodbury Practice since 2004.
Elda Becerro Nunez, BSc (Hons) Ost Med DO ND also qualified 8 years ago. SHe has done an MSc in Pediatric Osteopathy and has a keen interest in pregnancy- related problems, pediatrics, TMJ (jaw pain) and headaches. She also studied rehabilitation pilates, dry needling and naturopathy.
Vikesh Arjan, BSc (Hons) Ost Med DO ND joined us in May 2012 from the now closed Joseph Clinic in South Woodford. He too studied at the British College of Osteopathic Medicine and is trained in Dry Needling. He has a keen interest in sports injuries and currently works closely with Gaelic Football, Hurling and Cricket sportspeople.
