Wednesday night aqua fit is a great class works you hard

User

We used the swimming baths this morning and were really impressed with the work that the staff had put in to clear paths. Keeping the customers safe and happy. Well done.

User

Sally on reception is an absolute credit to you. Tuesday night I was going to not bother swimming after not going for over 13 years when my friend cancelled last minute. Sally showed me around, advised me on the sessions and monthly schemes you have. Calmed me down with a few kind words and so I swam, loved it and will be back very soon. . One very happy customer.

User

I have been a member of this gym for 9 years, i love it, excellent classes and superb instructors that go above and beyond to make sure members are happy, especially the lovely Suzi who has helped me immensely over the years and also the fabulous Kat, Suzanne and Tammy, infact all of the staff are friendly and make you feel welcome, i have also met some lovely friends there who are also long term members, i would highly recommend Wyndley Leisure Centre, especially the Body Combat, Aerofit classes and the well equipped gym 10/10

User

Can’t fault the service at Wyndley yesterday first visit with my grandson and the staff couldn’t be more helpful- will definitely be returning 👍🏻

User

Used the gym only a few times while I had to stay away, I will be going back whenever Iam local again, good price and decent lay out for what most need.

Instructor was helpful and polite.

Defo recommend to give it a try.

User

The gym and equipment are exceptional as are the refurbished studios. There is still some improvements needed , the studio toilets are always locked and could do with lockers in the pool changing rooms instead of the old wet tray & band system. The classes I have attended have all been superb and the gym membership is fantastic value for money!

User

Started exercise classes in February and after trying out a few classes found the four that I really enjoy excellent Leisure centre and staff on reception are really helpful. My one gripe is the car park sometimes it's hard to get a space and now precious spaces have been given to the driving school.

User

I love Wyndley new gym I'm in there every day but the last week its been freezing I warm up on the tread mill or bike then go and do the weights then I freeze I was in there today and my hands nearly froze to the weights metal pole it was that cold so I walk out and went for a costa for a warm :[ please sort it out soon ,:] thank you . I dont want to wear my coat in the gym :[

User

Been coming here for 10 years. Love the refurb but....Please put the air con on!

User

Awful customer service today from one one your female staff members, left people queuing up without informing them that both pools were full, when people asked why she wasn’t serving and was just sitting there she was giving very rude and sarcastic answers back including to myself and to another gentleman who she indulged in a heated argument with in front of a big queue of customers. When I asked politely how long she though we would be waiting for the children’s pool her answer was “well I don’t know how long people will be swimming for” . Also she was rolling her eyes at a young girl that was crying who was clearly upset that she could not go swimming, In future please tell your staff to inform people the pools are full as they enter instead of allowing them to queue up an not telling them anything, terrible attitude from this lady who was behind the desk around 3pm Sunday afternoon. Will not be using your facilities again.

User

You need to update your timetable to show true times of swimming during school holidays, I went today with two young children to swim at half 11 to be told swimming wasn't on until 12:15 as my kids where upset to go home had no choice but to wait 45 minutes to go in the teaching pool

User

Whilst the swimming pool is one of the best sized for the area and has had some facelift to the ceiling areas of the pool side,

the waiting areas have been very much neglected

With broken seats and flooring peeling away at the seems its looks very grubby and warn! There is wifi but the staff at the desk haven't got a password so you can't use it! (In this day and age it show's just how dated it is here.)

The Canteen/Cafe is a couple of

Tatty over priced machines full of sugary drinks/ Crisps and chocolate. Not what you want your children feasting on after a couple of hours good exercise.

On a plus side the life guards all seem to be attentive doing there job and the staff at the desk are to the point but I feel there's a lack of that warm welcome feeling.

I do hope that more money will be invested into this place soon and I hope it doesn't fall into same fate as Tudor Grange in Solihull and get turned into a privatised Gym with a Smaller shallow pool which are as about much fun to play in as a Paddling pool.

User

I would like to know why in the school holidays has Wyndley management decided to have two splash sessions a day, morning & afternoon.

Having these 2 sessions means that my monthly direct debit is not valid for 5 hours a day.

I think it's greedy that management would choose to have 5 hours a day of splash & still expect people to pay full direct debit even though they can't use it for 35 hours a week during the holidays.

It's a bit of an over kill, don't you think. It's acceptable to allow the. Children to use the pool from 13-1600 daily during the holidays. It would also allow other families to bring their children swimming in the morning & not have to pay splash prices.

Stop being greedy Wyndley & honour your faithful direct debit consumers.

Make swimming affordable & people happy.

User

can never get a place on classes even if you have a contract

User

Only one receptionist on who took ages 2 deal with the person in front of us in the queue, we booked badminton courts on 2 occasions the courts weren't set up which meant this was eating into our minutes, there was some kind of fluid on the court which made it difficult to play and the door on entry to the court kept blowing open so the safety nets kept blowing in on the court while we were playing.

User

Visited with my toddler and baby for the first time yesterday morning. Absolutely horrendous experience. Paid at reception no problems got undressed only to get to the pool side and be told they have closed the training pool due to been too busy. So I said why wasn't I told this at reception and I would of waited upstairs. Only to be told it wasn't her problem. We had to stand at the pool side for 10 minutes and wait for people to get out so we could go in. This wouldn't of been a problem had I been made aware from the beginning but as you can imagine with a 4 month old and 3 year old it was horrendous trying to explain to my toddler that he couldn't enter the pool. The female life guard beasically told us to use the big pool if it was a problem , however I wasn't going to take my baby into cold water. I also didn't realise that they didn't have baby changing tables in the cubicles in the mixed changing area I looked in about 6 and could only see little seats this was also extreamly annoying because I had to put my sleeping baby on the dirty floor wrapped in 2 towels so I could get myself dressed.

You really need to look at this on a Sunday morning because the service we received was horrendous. Make people wait in the waiting area unstairs not at the side of the pool

User

Tried call few times no answer. Got to wyndley long cues got to till to be told got wait 1 hour n half as no 8 yr olds allowed in little pool. But i also have 2 n 6yr old. Also few people left with there children as they also was told the same. Loosing customers.

User

I’m tired of not being able to get into any of the classes that I enjoy. You must have doubled if not tripled memberships in the last 12 months and yet the number of classes have remained the same. Why not put more of the most popular classes on and at times people can attend. They are full 10 days in advance! If you compare the timetables to Cocksmoore and Fox Hollies it’s minimal. There are no good early morning classes that people can attend before work, there’s hardly any classes on a Sunday and all the Les Mills classes sell out. Please change and increase the timetable 🤸‍♂️
