Today we was working on a job on Dover high street with BBC 1s Homes Under the Hammer....... If all goes as planned we will be rewiring and assisting to convert the property into 3-4 flats and a new shop.

Do you know anyone who has a building trade that could assist the BBC’s DIY SOS in Barnet? Here's why...
... On 22nd March 2017, 35 year old Kris Aves attended a London Police Commendation Ceremony and was awarded for his exceptional work as a Police Liaison Officer in the Metropolitan Police. What should have been a happy day shortly turned to horror as Kris became a victim of the terrorist attack on Westminster Bridge.
The horrific attack left 5 people dead, including Police Officer Keith Palmer and another dozen with very serious injuries including PC Kris. Kris was returning from the ceremony when he was suddenly mowed down by the terrorist in a speeding car. Kris took the brunt of the collision. It left him with two broken legs, numerous head injuries, a lacerated elbow, a damaged left shoulder, sternum, and tragically a damaged spinal cord which has left him wheel chair bound.
Kris now resides in Stoke Mandeville Hospital, Aylesbury, undergoing daily routines to assist with his rehabilitation. His partner Marissa cares for son (6) and daughter (4) in their home in East Barnet which is now inaccessible to Kris and unsuitable for his rehabilitation. The home needs considerable adaption throughout, and a through floor lift before Kris can return to his loving family.
BBC DIY SOS invites trades to volunteer and companies to support this build for Police Officer Kris Aves and his family. The build will take place between 10th and 19th October. To join the build you need to attend a Trades Day being held on 21st September. My ugly mug was on BBC1 again last night at 9pm for the amazing build carried out in Dartford/Longfield. I had no warning it was being aired so hopefully you all watched it.

I'm very pleased with the way my lighting has turned out. Plus for the customer to send me this picture thanking me again means a lot.

Is there anyone crazy enough to do an all nighter tonight helping me finish a rewire or someone willing to work tomorrow?

Thank you all for saying them kind words. But I'm not amazing or anything special at all.
The Ratcliffe family are amazing and the special people. They deserve the recognition not me. I helped for 9 days or so to make things a bit easier for them that's all. They are supporting the amazing/funny/crazy kids for the rest of their life's.........
My 9 days compared to what Garry & Kyle are doing is a drop in the Ocean.
They need the praise much more than me and deserve everything and a lot more.
I'll watch the show in a min or in the morning. Hopfully I did not look like a mug lol.

Good old Billy (sausage) called me last night just to let me know the Isle of Sheppey job is being aired on the 8th June all excited as he had just found out. I had to laugh at him as everyone else knew 24hours before, even the local papers 😂
He is a muppet 😂
