Hafsa had her leg amputated due to health issues (Thankfully her health is much better now) the main goal is to build muscle and become stronger. Zumba class on a Thursday night ran by Andrea is one of best Zumba classes I’ve been to. Unfortunately they r cutting this class out which is such a shame bcoz majority of the ladies have only joined up the gym for this class. Management seriously needs to consider keeping this class on orelse they r goin to be looking at cancellations.

Friendly staff, spacious, clean, plenty of equipment. Great value for the off peak times that suit my needs. My only gripe is the car parking ticket situation. Car passes for customers would be much more convenient, just a thought!

Damien Walker your an absolute star, not feeling too good yesterday but you turned up and continued with giving us a spin class!! The class it self was AMAZING very hard work but soooooo worth it!! and the energy you create really gets the best out of us, sooooo thank you very much for all your time and effort you put into your classes.

Almost as big as A Football pitch downstairs, and the same upstairs...thats without the massive Gym floor, and the great Boxing Ring area!..i love this place..even the toilets are spot in!..���

I like it when they have carpark tickets.Really it's getting annoying and needs to be sorted ,stop blaming the council .

Wish they would bring back some of the classes and change the classes back to 615 or 630 as i have to walk in class late and i find it embarrassing so i dont go

Used to be a fab gym with lots of variety of classes in the evening . It’s gone downhill the last 12 months as the budget gym got greedy by trying to cash in on boot camp type classes at an extra cost to members . The slots which they use for these classes now use , used to be Les Mills classes which were always well attended in access of 50 people , to see less than 10 in the studio at these times now is ridiculous . There are a few les Mills classes on the timetable but not at the times I can attend

Not enough plates for the equipment, clean with a friendly atmosphere but equipment wise it's nowhere near as maintained as gyms such as puregym

Great on a morning but chokka between 6 and 8 on an evening Don't lime people hovering over the machines waiting for you to finish. Also anyone can walk in member or not cos the turnstiles don't work. I went to the one on china st, last night loads better, better layout, busy but not like NUL. I'm from teesside so grateful there was 2 gyms while working in stoke �

Who's bright idea was it to have 2 weightlifting platforms on the top floor of the gym?!! For someone who's a dedicated Olympic style weightlifter it's not ideal to try and 'control' a 90% clean and jerk or snatch to the ground is ridiculous!! To be told off by members of staff for dropping the weight isn't my fault that the platforms are on the top floor!! Weightlifting is about energy efficiency and good technique to avoid injury!!! Being told to be as quiet as possible in a gym put me off the rest of my session!!

I booked a trial for today just to make sure I liked the gym before joining.

I was told I'd be shown how to work the machines but this didn't happen.

I asked but the girl on reception just told me to come & ask her.

I wanted to be SHOWN not told.

I felt embarrassed that I was fiddling with the buttons not knowing what I was doing.

A new gym is daunting on your own & I should of been at least shown around.

I saw someone else been given a tour so why wasn't I??

Surely health & safety encourages staff to show new/potential clients how to use the equipment.

I felt so deflated & felt like an idiot.

Xercise4Less is run extremely badly. As a former member, there was several things wrong with the gym at Newcastle under Lyme, missing equipment, broken equipment, etc, all of which was promised to be rectified by the manager, ZERO of which was actually done.



If you block pay for Personal Training sessions, you are more than likely going to lose some of your money due to the impossibly short expiry dates.



They also treat their employees very badly, please do NOT consider working for Xercise4Less. All the decent, hard working personal trainers, who actually were good at their job have been forced out, due to impossible harsh conditions. My PT had his contract terminated for taking a day off to look after his sick child. The clueless managers at head office decided to turn all their self employed personal trainers into employed gloried sales staff by force. Now the managers place absolutely no focus on quality of training sessions, instead huge amounts of pressure are placed on PT's to sell, sell, and mis-sell!!! No body cares what you do as long as you flog as many sessions as possible. Harassing members regularly to buy sessions which they can't possibly use in the time frames enforced, resulting in many members losing money for pre-paid sessions.
