Top international guitarists were guests at the Yak & Yeti tonight ahead of the Hellys Festival in Helston, which kicks off tomorrow.
Pablo Rodriguez (Spa), Andrea Dieci (Ita) and Radoslaw Wieczorek (Pol) joined our friends Ben Salfield and Charlotte Arnold... and everyone left VERY full and happy!

What an amazing place!

Not only is the food absolutely gorgeous but the staff are so welcoming and friendly. You get a wonderful professional high standard of service and care, yet so relaxed and like being with your best friends.

Sunny and the team are fantastic and I'd highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Went out for a wonder around truro and having never been in a Nepalese resturant before i was a little worried i wouldn't know what to order ... but every single member of staff where absolutely lovely and polite the menu is brilliant for giving you a clear idea of what your ordering i always go for the same � but everything sounded so tasty we both wanted it all � we ordered and found that some things where very generous on size ! Safe to say we left with very full bellys !! But not because of size ... everything we tried was so tasty we didnt want to stop eating it � we will definatly be back .. it was a truly lovely evening amazing food and such friendly people x

I had Momo’s, which I’ve never eaten before, and I would have them again because they were so nice!

Thank you Prem, Maya and Sunny for a fantastic afternoon! The Truro College students and staff loved finding out about Nepal and tasting delicious, traditional Nepalese food. It was such a wonderful, new experience for the students so they have drawn pictures to thank you!

Sunny, Maya, Prem and the rest of the team always provide excellent customer service and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Food is top-notch and the menu has a wide variety of dishes, I would recommend the Chefs Specials.



Gone from going here once or twice to Yak & Yeti being my curry house of choice when in Truro.

Popped in here with my husband and 2 children this evening. Lovely, friendly and attentive staff. Food was lovely and good value for money. We will definitely return.

I loved place and tasty Nepali food and friendly staff his name is Prem Poudel. Nice environment, we spent there almost two hour. And we will go definitely again. Thanks mr prem and his team for servicing us nice food.

Good food and great service.

The staff made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked through the door, all taking their time to have a chat with us and not rushing about.

The food was awesome, with so really good flavours. The menu is huge so much choice, will be going back again soon.

All round this is still the number one Nepalese/Indian restaurant.



The takeaway delivery time is so quick. Ordering through justeat and your meal is ready and at your door before you’ve had time to lay the table.



I’m the sit down type of guy. That way I can take it the banter, outstanding service and the smells of food being cooked.



There is cobra on tap, how can anyone argue with that?



The thukpa soup is irresistible. Have it every time. Always vegetable but the chicken is bang on as well.



I’ve tried almost every main dish bar a few. It’s great to have such fantastic variation where the quality is consistent.

After visiting the restaurant with family several months ago my girlfriend and I decided to get a takeaway tonight as it's my Birthday on Monday. To say we haven't been disappointed on both occasions is an understatement! In the restaurant the service is brilliant, the owners and staff are really nice and friendly! Absolutely fantastic flavours and plenty of it, we'll definitely be visiting again soon!

Absolutely amazing food, just finished having our meal here this evening. Nothing but compliments from everyone who attended the event. Can't wait to try more of their menu in the future. Highly recommend.

We ordered at 6pm told us to arrive at 6.30pm!

Which we did, with two tired young kids in car to still be sitting waiting for it at 7pm! Oviously hadnt even started cooking it!

Realy disappointing!

Nice food but this had put me off ordering again!

We are normally huge fans of Yak and Yeti and have always recommended them until now, our meals were really watery and had no flavour whatsoever to them, we've basically have just thrown £25 into the bin! This is the second not great meal we've had- the first time they were really busy so we put it down to that, but we will be looking for a new Indian takeaway from now on.

Worse Indian I have ever eaten. Tandoori chicken was so dry and on the bone and nothing was stated on the menu, and don't even get me started on the naan bread. Wish I would of spent the extra money going to perranporth to go to masala.

If I could give 0 stars I would ! Worst curry me and my girlfriend have ever had. Half the food was stone cold, the amount of grease was disgusting and to top it off it's made my girlfriend ill ! She had the tandoori chicken which she didn't finish because it tasted funny ?! Not long after eating she had chronic stomach ache and felt sick so went to bed. I woke up at 3 in the morning to the sound of her being violently sick and really not very well ! Absolutely disgusting ! I will be reporting you to Environmental Health to investigate further. DO NOT BUY FOOD FROM THIS PLACE !!! NOT SAFE !!!
