Went to Yates today and had a lovely time! Tables were spotless, staff were absolutely fab and food came asap, very pleased with my visit today and would be delighted to go again! Would definitely recommend �

I don’t normally do reviews, especially for chain restaurants, but the service my family received today was exceptional! The servers and bar staff were extremely welcoming and went out of their way to accommodate my family, which included x2 young children. After ordering our food, it arrived surprisingly quickly this was particularly surprising as we had asked the chef to customise some dishes due to dietary requirements. Our meals were served literally “hot off the grill” clearly fresh and cooked to order, the only complaint I have is that we had to wait for it to cool down before we could start eating!!!

Had a lovely 3 course Christmas dinner with my friends we had table service for food and drinks. The food was very good and extremely good value for money the only down side to the evening were the people squawking down the microwave ruining good music in the name of karaoke. But the Christmas meal was fab and so were the staff

Great staff and great food it was an amazing experience and food service is superb was hot when it arrived to table staff are amazing and had a great table manor

Brilliant. Went to Yates on a whim ended up having a all day breakfast and a pint. Really was perfectly cooked, service was spot on. Friendly, polite and well mannered. Atmosphere was humble, clean and nice interior. Must admit I would not of thought I was in a Yates if I hadn’t seen the sign when walking in. All that and my meal and drink cane to less than a 10er.

A lovely place to go lounge with your friends. Whats happened to the strip poles, I remember having innocent fun on them with friends when I have clubbed there. I was excited to see Yates new interior look! I had lunched here previous with my sister. The furniture could of been less shabby, some needed repairing. I tried the Mexican Vegetarian pasta Bake, which had loads of new flavours in and the plates were beautiful, there was just the right amount served I didn't feel starving and there was no wastage, I ate out and could feel not too naughty about it! xx

I stuck to the floor by the bar yesterday lunchtime. It could have done with a good mopping up before the venue opened! Beer was ok and a pleasant enough venue.

Took my two daughter to here to have lunch, ordered at the till and everything fine, the starter arrived same time as our main meal so by the time we got around to our meal it was cold so obviously wasnt very hot when it arrived! My curry sauce wasn't brought out so asked a member of staff where it was & he wasn't sure so went to investigate 5 mins later he brings it & says it wasn't paid for so I'll have to do this before we left...it was £1!! Their mistake but made to pay for it! No member of staff came to ask us through our meal if everything was ok, and then took a while to come take our plates when we had finished, and the chocolate fudge cake was dry and we waited over 5 minutes for them to bring desert spoons to eat it with after it had arrived! And was freezing on there my youngest had to eat with a coat on! Wont be returning again, such a shame as my girls had been looking forward to it all week! �

Only nipped in for a quick pint before going to the cinema, but by the time my partner's coffee arrived we had to leave. Only ONE member of staff behind the bar, not his fault, but this is the second time this has happened recently during the day.

was to in there 2nd Jan for my husbands birthday lunch the service was very slow took over an hour to get our food the order was wrong a screaming hungry 1yr old because the food was so slow no cutlery given to us got it ourselves plus sauces ect no high chairs out for any one to use had to ask if they had any and no kids menus on tables which if i was in there on my own with kids is not good. staff did not seem yo know what food was what or where is was going.

we sat near the hatch for the food and the wraps and salad was just thrown on the plates my meal was over cooked the beef was dry and over cooked and the sane with the kids burgers all over cooked my husbands meal was also over cooked also the deserts for the kids we had to ask for them after 20+ minutes of waiting.

food was not worth the wait really disappointed in the food and service.

also we had 2 meals given to us and for a good 10 mins mine sat on the service area being pushed from one side to the other o one seemed to know what they was doing i had to tell them myself it was still there and the wait for my kids meals to be cooked after they got it wrong and for it to be over cooked and dry is horrendous

food comes out way too quick obviously all put in a microwave and the tables are dirty and the coffee is rank

Not at all impressed...My husband ordered Italian Burger and I ordered Steak.

Never before in any establishment have I had to pay 25p to substitute chips for Jacket Potato!! This was the first thing.

When our meals did arrive the coleslaw on my husbands plate was hot ! Clearly they had put his plate under to keep warm whilst waiting for my steak..which should not have had coleslaw on it until later. His chips were served in a cup with a huge chip on the side.

My husband used the toilet facilities which he said were not very clean.

Wont be in a hurry to return

The worst meal I have ever had!! If I wanted a microwaved meal I would have stayed at home!! It came out within 5 minutes of ordering it! And watched most of it come out of the microwave ! The only thing that was kinda fresh was the chips! Even my eggs were microwaved! Now I know why I haven’t been there for such a long time. Such a shame as it used to be lovely.

Nipped in after the Xmas light switch on.. Felt so sorry for the two staff that were working. They were running about daft and still managed to be polite! Not a clean table in sight! We actually cleared our own table. The place wasn't even that busy. Reminded me of Wetherspoons. Another pub chain with only money on their minds. Couldn't give two hoots about their staff or their customers.That's the impression i got anyway

I wouldnt reccomend this place for anyone looking for a nice meal or even a quick bite!! We where in for breakfast this morning and struggled to find a clean dining table the chairs where heavily stained or ripped badly, wallpaper falling off the walls sticky counters. I should have left but thought maybe the food would be ok bigger fool iam the breakfast took ages to come out they brought out adult meals and we had to wait 10 mins before the childrens was brought out! (Personally i always want my childrens food first they dont understand the waiting game) the food was undercooked (snotty eggs and burnt sausages) getting the waiters attention was almosylt impossible he was far to busy sitting at a table chatting to the bar maid i only wanted him to bring the food we where missing from meals.. none of us finished our food the glasses where disgusting had lipstick from who ever used it before (not my colour) overall the place is tacky and need a complete overhaul and bloody good clean.. defo on the list of do not return

I got drugged in here last Thursday colllapsed and was taken to hospital have reported to the police as Yates haven’t really helped me I have also been contacted by 2 other girls confirming this happneded to them to

Came here for something to eat with my daughter n her friends, just finished paying and asked if the table could be cleaned (don’t think the table has ever seen a cloth!) and my daughter came running over to say she’d seen a mouse! The place was disgusting!! Filthy!!!
