First Easter bunnies appeared on the Neilsen Terrace today!

We really enjoyed our stay last night on New Years day for my husbands birthday. The meal was very good and the Christmas atmosphere and decorations were very pleasing to the eye I thought stunning. We stayed in one of the courtyard family rooms with our two children 5 and 18months who also loved their stay. The room was very newly refurbished and modern Inside. My highlight was the enormous roll top bath that did actually fit all four of us in!!! The beds were very hard so very good if you love a hard mattress!! The only criticism was the knocking all night of the external air vent of the extractor fan on the bathroom wall (room 79) I think the wind was effecting it and it was a constant noise all night which was a shame as there was nothing we could do to stop it!!! That said we have made some great memories here and have booked to come back with the children for the panto on 14th January. The breakfast was also great the next morning, everything was cooked fresh to order which I liked. We didn’t get chance to use the spa facilities as we had the children, but we looked around and it looks fabulous. So we have also booked the stay and spa valentines package for 14th feb, which I can’t wait to return for to this lovely place. Thank you

We had a wonderful experience at The brand new Spa staff were warm and welcoming very proffessional the place its self is very clean well thought out and one of thw nicest spas ive seen we had a extremely relaxing comfortable day treatments that my frienfs had done said they were great we all cane away very chilled and relaxed would highly recommend to anyone thank you all at Ye olde Bell Spa well done x

We got married at Ye Olde Bell last Thursday and could not have wished for a more perfect day. Chris and the team gave us 5 star service and made sure everything ran smoothly. From the beautiful ceremony in the oak pavilion to the delicious wedding breakfast we really were treated like royalty. Nothing was too much trouble and the service really was exceptional.

Ye Olde Bell is such a beautiful venue and we will definitely be returning to celebrate our anniversaries.

We got married at Ye Olde Bell a few weeks ago! Just wanted to say a massive thank you for an amazing, magical wedding day! We knew that it was the one, after visiting numerous wedding fayres! No matter how many questions we have had, Ye Olde Bell were happy to answer . Due to there being no wedding the night before, we were able to set the Bradgate suite! We want to say a big thank you to Ben, he kept us very well informed throughout the day. On the morning of the wedding, he let us know when the groom and the registrars arrived! Everything ran very smoothly and the venue couldn't have done any more for us! The wedding breakfast was amazing and we had lots of lovely comments about the tasty food, especially the chocolate brownie!! The members of staff were very professional and went out of their way to make the three days we spent at the Bell very special! We highly recommend Ye Olde Bell as a wedding venue! It was the best choice we have made! Thank you x

We attended a wedding evening reception yesterday and found the venue to be so lovely. The staff were nice, the area clean and well presented. Beautiful gardens and they were dressed so gorgeous with blankets and cushions for seating. We normally find ourselves hungry on these occasions, being vegan, but the choice was fab and the staff were able to answer any questions straight away and were very polite

This is no ordinary spa. This is the ultimate spa experience. Every last detail has been thought of. Staff are so warm and welcoming. Treatments are fantastic and the spa day is out of this world. You will never experience anything like it anywhere else. Teamed with the ever amazing hotel the spa has been the icing on the cake to an already beautiful hotel.

Thank you so much to Ye Olde Bell for facilitating the perfect wedding day! From the initial booking, to food tasting, my endless questions and worries to the night before and the day itself, the staff were unbelievably amazing. They went above and beyond what I expected of them, and of what was written in the contract - they simply arranged everything, effortlessly, so that we had the day of our dreams. Organsing and worrying are two things I'm extremely good at, but the events team encouraged me to let go, trust them, and just enjoy each moment! And Chris and Billy made it extremely easy. They were pros at making me laugh and keeping me calm, and they made sure everything ran seemlessly. They made me and my husband feel like royalty, and my bridesmaids and guests feel like VIPs. Every single person had an amazing day and are still raving about the food - especially the pizza! And, to top it all off, the venue, including rooms and gardens are stunning. We couldn't have asked for anything more. I cannot recommend this place enough. We are already planning our return trip for our anniversary.

Spot on had a few parties here and we have booked our 40th Anniversary for September if there are better staff in the country I have yet to meet them I have travelled the length and breath of this great country but Kate Billy and all the staff are the best I have encountered keep up the good work folks

My husband and I had our wedding here on Saturday 16th September, and it was the most amazing day ever!! Billy and the team were absolutely outstanding, the day went so smoothly, every guest commented on how beautiful the venue was and how wonderful the staff were!! We couldn't be more grateful, thank you so so much!! I just wish we could do it all again!! Love Mr & Mrs Stothard. Xxx

Just want to thank Kate and her team for making our winter wedding on Saturday so special. It really was the most magical day we could have ever dreamt of! The staff were fantasic the food was amazing and service so so quick no one was waiting between courses everything ran so smoothly. I can’t recommend this place enough. Incredible food and service. My partner and I have had the privilege of eating in some high quality establishments and this is one of, if not the best meals we've ever had. This place has the whole package!

I love staying here, the food is great, the welcome is always wonderful and the hotel safely store my bike for me so that I don't have to worry about it getting pinched.



The main reason that I come back week after week is Sue in the breakfast room. She remembers everyones name, is always so bright and makes every single guest feel at home no matter how grumpy they are!



Only slight niggle is that the wifi is hit and miss when the hotel is busy.

Celebrated our 19th anniversary here after getting martied at this venue in 1998 and many changes have occurrd! Hotel is as lovely and charming as everand the modernisation of a Spa addition is truly brilliant such a fab place to stay full of old fashioned charm which martied perfectly with class of modern day. Staff are lovely and so attentive really recommend this place has a special place in our hearts.... roll on next year!��

Beautiful Hotel and Staff was great for ue to have our wedding on 25.08.18. Ben + his team did a brilliant job organising our day. The day went smoothly, The Bradgate Suite was set up beautiful by Flowers by Kay + ILL Bello Venue Decorations. The meal was lovely followed by the The Manhattan Singers and Dj, so we could dance into the early hours. Highly recommended by the new Mr & Mrs Gladwin

Absolutely stunning service. We were made to feel so incredibly welcome and the staff were so kind and considerate to us all - especially my 2 year old daughter.



I can honestly say in 36 years on this Earth - I have eaten the best steak and treacle tart here at the Ye Olde Bell. We will definitely be coming back (my husband was so impressed with everything he was asking to get married again!�).

Absolutely first class. We met there to introduce our parents in advance of our wedding this year. It was a really special Sunday lunch despite there being a wedding fair, a private function and a full dining room the food was very good and the service both friendly and efficient! Wish we lived nearer!

Lovely venue. Good excellent for large event. However on guest on our table had sauce spilt down his suit when the chicken was being served. The response to this was not as quick as you would expect. Another guest fell backwards onto the floor when his chair broke in two. Again the response was not as swift as would have been expected. He actually had to fetch himself another chair!

Hotel was beautiful! Very English which I loved! Food was amazing too at the restaurant. However, the waiting staff (specifically the older guy) was very rude. We asked him to explain to us the dessert menu but got an unfriendly response that sounded like “I’m busy, stop asking questions” attitude.

Beautiful hotel but for the price I expected a whole lot better... cost more than some hotels down London ... carpets are filthy and really old struggled getting luggage up to the 3rd floor the too. Was beautiful however a king size bed would of been better ther is plenty enough room for a bigger bed the bathroom was ok too the hospitality was OK the noise less than OK thought music would be turned down at midnight it didn't and my room was above the bar constant music and some huming I can only presume it to be the pumps or chillers for the bar woke up 6 am to lots of dogs and I mean lots of dogs... the grounds are beautiful too breakfast was you standard English fried breakfast or choose pastry's or a fruit salad the bar for drinks was expensive £6 for a glass of prosser and £4 apint.. all very nice..all in all a good stay but not worth 175.00 per night and more as we found out if you had children in the same room
