Yeast Culture creates and produces documentaries, video installations, live VJing, projection mapping, visuals and music videos. We work across art forms and disciplines blending film, live performance, animation, illustration and sound design.
Yeast Culture Description
An award winning company with over a decade of experience, we find that the majority of our work is generated through personal recommendations. Bespoke production teams are put together for each new project from a network that includes directors, producers, video designers, editors and animators through to live event managers, set designers, show callers and riggers. We aim to make extraordinary and distinctive work with every fresh adventure we take on.
Our team always takes the time to get to know the people and partners who commission us. We have developed a strong client base ranging from cutting edge artists, high profile musicians to forward thinking arts organisations.
Examples of recent commissions and collaborations include projects with Akram Khan, Nitin Sawhney, Ben Okri, Philharmonia Orchestra, Britten Sinfonia, Cirque du Soleil, Brian Eno, Esa Pekka Salonen, Michael Tilson Thomas, Matthew Herbert, Ludovico Einaudi, George Fenton, Madness, British Council, BBC and Channel 4.
By understanding the artists we work with, we translate their essence and vision to a global stage.

This is the trailer for our new AV installation 'PADEREWSKI REMIXED' which launches in Müpa Artspace Budapest on the 16th September. The work is mapped across 60 Sony Cube monitors which are stacked and scattered across the gallery floor. The piece tells the story of pianist Igancy Jan Paderewski who in 1890 became the world first international musical superstar. It places the viewer in the front row of the audience of one of Paderewski’s most f...amous performances playing Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody to a packed house in Manhattan's Carnegie Hall. The stacks of monitors weave together rare archive footage with the concert footage charting his journey from piano virtuoso through to becoming Poland’s first ever Prime Minister in 1918. 'PADEREWSKI REMIXED’ runs daily at Müpa until the 30th September.
