At 200 acres (a little over half the size of Hyde park), Battersea Park feels like a place to escape from the busy city centre. As tranquil as it is, it is also located right next to the river Thames. The bridge leading out from the park speaks for itself. It's also a 25 minute walk from the hostel!

The pictures below show the blossoming trees and their flowers at and around the hostel property. Colourful displays give a welcome retreat from the streets of London. Though, as you can see, they line the streets too!

Following on with the theme of spring, the following photos show blossom on trees and flowers, with a variety of colours. We believe that anybody who says London is not a green city, has not visited the beautiful spaces London has to offer. Pictures shown below features Victoria Embankment Gardens. Only 30 minutes walk from our hostel.
It also features Cycle Superhighway 3 (CS3) which, at time of the picture being taken had 289252 cyclists so far this year, at which rate would now have surpassed 300000

Very helpful and easy going staff. The attitude here is relaxed, meet some fun people. Have a choice of 2 stations and bus stop very close

Stayed here a number of times now. Staff are always nice friendly and welcoming. This is a brilliant location for exhibitions at Olympia or Earl's Court.

Neat and clean place to stay for one night stay in London. Though I recommend to bring your own towel, shower gel etc., and lockpad for locker. If not, the receptionist provides it for a price. 6 minutes walk to the nearest Tube station Earl's Court.

Just back in Ireland from a brilliant stay in London. Nothing but good things about this place. Great staff, really helpful, even printing off our boarding passes. Really handy for sight seeing with plenty of shops around. Lovely area and superb building. Highly recommend.

Ideal location near to the museums and tube station. Rooms were clean and comfortable, showers were great, staff were very helpful. Will definitely be back to stay again in the future

I've stayed in a YHA hostel three times and two of those times have been in the one in Earl's Court. YHA is the best hostel I've ever stayed in. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The dormitories are very spacious and extremely clean. The beds are very comfortable. The showers and toilets are all so clean, and there is the added bonus of all the showers being power showers.

Will definitely be staying here again. YHA is always going to be my first choice from now on.

Hostel is situated very close to the centre-the tube station just nearby. Very good location!! near everything :-) Room & toilets clean, kitchen equipped in everything you need. Staff very friendly and helpful.

There wasn't table in the room and the shower was very strange- without the handset from the shower.

Clean, affordable, comfortable, lovely staff and it was quiet which was great. In a really good location and easy to get to and from. Suitable space to put your belongings and you can buy a lock from reception to keep anything you need safe in your room in the storage space provided. Would definitely stay here again when I'm next in London.

Warm, clean and central place to stay with friendly staff. I've been going there for a week for the last 14 years ( excluding the one of the fire and refit ). 200yrds from mini market, 5 mins from tube, 200 yrds down side street to get away from traffic noise.
