Yogamatters Description

Here at Yogamatters, we are committed to living out our yoga principles both on and off the mat.

We genuinely believe that yoga matters. That every body is a yoga body and that everybody can benefit from a regular yoga practice. Our team includes yoga teachers and students with a breadth of experience who are united in their passion for yoga. At Yogamatters, we believe in community, not competition. In collaboration and not rivalry.

We are living in what sometimes feels like a fragmented world. And so we search for what unites us, what builds community, what promotes healthy relationships and positive connections. And there we find yoga, for the word ‘yoga’ in Sanskrit means ‘to yoke – to join and to unite’. So whatever our experience, expertise or preferred practice, our love of yoga will always be what unites us. We are all on the same side. We all roll out our mats and practise yoga. Each one of us is an important part of the worldwide yoga body.

I emailed Yogamatters regarding a bolster cushion cover that had seemed to shrink and I offered to purchase a new one, however, they responded within hours offering to send me a replacement without any cost. I've been a wholesale customer of Yoga Matters for 15 years...at the beginning it was personal and friendly. Now unfortunately, it has turned into a company with no personal care. The customer service has no name, you don't feel you talk to a real person. Such a shame to see a company go more and more downhill...but I guess as they sell more and more, as long as the profits are good...doesn't help to get real customer care.

I was bought one of the large Namaste bags as a Graduation gift on passing my Teacher Training 200 Certificate. The quality of the product is great. Highly recommend.

I have bought from them but am very disappointed to discover they have products from Israel in the range. The MD called me yesterday to say she had decided to take down my post but reflect on it, she has also taken off sale the items from Israel.

I respect her actions and hope that all customers and staff of Yoga Matters are informed enough to know that boycotting Israeli goods is not in any way anti semitic, this is something I also feel strongly about. No occupation, No anti Semitism.

I LOVE the products and the colours on offer. I wanted to buy the £59.99 yoga kit as a gift but the yoga strap had no colour option like the other products when I ordered. I sent a message through the contact page asking if it could be the same colour as the other items I had ordered in the kit & they called me the next morning which was impressive. Unfortunately they wouldn't let me swop it for the cheaper D ring that would match the rest of the colours in the kit which is a shame, so I'm having to cancel my order & look elsewhere which is disappointing, especially as the item I want to swop it to is cheaper than the one in the kit. :0(

Very disappointed in the customer service, product didn't show up! Although they alerted me to the fact there was something wrong, they could not tell me what had happened other than I can not have the items that I ordered!!! Would not recommend shopping here!

Order #145023706. I've tried to change the color of product a minute after order was made.

Apparently, there is no way to do such a small change!



"There is no way to change your order - it went directly to our warehouse and there is nothing we could do". There IS something you could do - CALL THEM, change something, DO something. But your support just don't want to do anything.



Im shocked and disappointed. Why your internal problem reflects on your customers??



Awful lazy "we dont want to do anything" customer service, good luck

Never got what I ordered, and had to wait more than one month for a refund

I was very disappointed with the Yoga Matters service for the last product I just purchased.

I hadn't received the product 1.5 weeks after ordering, with no way of tracking where the product was.

I then called in last Friday and was told there is nothing anyone can do I would have to wait to complain till it had been 2 weeks. However the lady on the phone promised me that if I didn't receive the product by Monday she would send another one out 1st class delivery.

However this was not the case, I had to call in today to find out I had been refunded as apparently they couldn't deliver even thought the building has a concierge.

No one bothered to call me to tell me what was going on or even ask if I wanted a refund or whether they should re post it and when I called in the lady didn't even bother to apologise for the terrible service!

The service I have received has made me very disappointed!

I just can't dig a company that stocks Israeli products. 9000 kids in Gaza no longer have a school to go to. The place looks like Nagasaki. Your commercial relationship pays for this destruction through the taxes the Tel Aviv company that supplies you pay. I've got nothing more to say except it is deeply uncool. Please reconsider your supply chain, you do claim to be ethical after all. Support peaceful #BDS for a fairer better safer world.

I have loved YogaMatters products/customer service and haven't had an issue with them in the past.



However, I have been waiting for a refund since the 27th April and every time I call to speak with a member of staff I get told someone will email me or telephone me with a update! So far no one has returned my countless calls. So disappointed with the lack of communication and customer service! I am a yoga teacher and the funds from this transaction will be used towards further teacher training which sadly looks like I will have to miss!



I will unfortunately now have to recommend to all students, yogi's and fellow teachers to avoid this company which is a shame!

I have frequently had trouble with yogamatters delivery. I have waited for a delivery for two days and having been told that it would be delivered two days in a row, nothing has turned up. I am now out of pocket and from the other reviews on this page, it would seem that getting decent customer service or a refund in unlikely. I'll look elsewhere in the future.

I have bought from them but am very disappointed to discover they have products from Israel in the range. The MD called me yesterday to say she had decided to take down my post but reflect on it, she has also taken off sale the items from Israel.

I respect her actions and hope that all customers and staff of Yoga Matters are informed enough to know that boycotting Israeli goods is not in any way anti semitic, this is something I also feel strongly about. No occupation, No anti Semitism.

I LOVE the products and the colours on offer. I wanted to buy the £59.99 yoga kit as a gift but the yoga strap had no colour option like the other products when I ordered. I sent a message through the contact page asking if it could be the same colour as the other items I had ordered in the kit & they called me the next morning which was impressive. Unfortunately they wouldn't let me swop it for the cheaper D ring that would match the rest of the colours in the kit which is a shame, so I'm having to cancel my order & look elsewhere which is disappointing, especially as the item I want to swop it to is cheaper than the one in the kit. :0(

Very disappointed in the customer service, product didn't show up! Although they alerted me to the fact there was something wrong, they could not tell me what had happened other than I can not have the items that I ordered!!! Would not recommend shopping here!

Order #145023706. I've tried to change the color of product a minute after order was made.

Apparently, there is no way to do such a small change!



"There is no way to change your order - it went directly to our warehouse and there is nothing we could do". There IS something you could do - CALL THEM, change something, DO something. But your support just don't want to do anything.



Im shocked and disappointed. Why your internal problem reflects on your customers??

Never got what I ordered, and had to wait more than one month for a refund

I was very disappointed with the Yoga Matters service for the last product I just purchased.

I hadn't received the product 1.5 weeks after ordering, with no way of tracking where the product was.

I then called in last Friday and was told there is nothing anyone can do I would have to wait to complain till it had been 2 weeks. However the lady on the phone promised me that if I didn't receive the product by Monday she would send another one out 1st class delivery.

However this was not the case, I had to call in today to find out I had been refunded as apparently they couldn't deliver even thought the building has a concierge.

No one bothered to call me to tell me what was going on or even ask if I wanted a refund or whether they should re post it and when I called in the lady didn't even bother to apologise for the terrible service!

The service I have received has made me very disappointed!

I just can't dig a company that stocks Israeli products. 9000 kids in Gaza no longer have a school to go to. The place looks like Nagasaki. Your commercial relationship pays for this destruction through the taxes the Tel Aviv company that supplies you pay. I've got nothing more to say except it is deeply uncool. Please reconsider your supply chain, you do claim to be ethical after all. Support peaceful #BDS for a fairer better safer world.

I have loved YogaMatters products/customer service and haven't had an issue with them in the past.



However, I have been waiting for a refund since the 27th April and every time I call to speak with a member of staff I get told someone will email me or telephone me with a update! So far no one has returned my countless calls. So disappointed with the lack of communication and customer service! I am a yoga teacher and the funds from this transaction will be used towards further teacher training which sadly looks like I will have to miss!



I will unfortunately now have to recommend to all students, yogi's and fellow teachers to avoid this company which is a shame!

I have frequently had trouble with yogamatters delivery. I have waited for a delivery for two days and having been told that it would be delivered two days in a row, nothing has turned up. I am now out of pocket and from the other reviews on this page, it would seem that getting decent customer service or a refund in unlikely. I'll look elsewhere in the future.
