2018 Yoga Classes have started Susanna's first class last night: Thank you so much for tonight's class. It felt so good to move and breath deeply - my back feels better already!
A Merry Christmas from yummy yoga, some stories as we approach 2018:
"The labour was very long over 24 hours! However I got the Vbac I wanted! It was very empowering and has helped me let go of the past.
Although I ended up with an epidural after 15 hours I was able to use the breathing techniques to breathe into the pain allowing me to avoid petheden.
... I used the breathing techniques whilst being given the epidural, having a cannula fitted and through the birth itself! I've also since used the techniques through recovery and breastfeeding.
Orla is a relaxed baby and was relaxed all through the labour and I'm certain this is due to the yoga classes and breathing and her picking up off my feelings.
Thank you for everything you have shown me and taught me. I have come so far since my first class and feel equipped to deal with parenting a little better too!" Fran from Rickmansworth
Happy Christmas and Happy New Year

Thank you Kalpana for your lovely testimonial "Ananti is not only warm hearted and encouraging, she's immensely knowledgeable! She's able to advise on all pregnancy aliments, and her yoga teaching skills are just what you need to prepare for labour. I'm currently attending her classes with my second baby, after she helped so much with my first! The sessions are tailor made to suit your individual needs, while offering the comfort of a group setting. Whether you're an experienced yogi or a beginner, first time mum or second/third/fourth, Yummy Yoga will give you the confidence and empowerment you need to birth your baby."
Yoga Connects us to our inner most space and inner strength. Monal Chande from Rickmansworth had a beautiful baby boy in June "I always heard negative induction stories but, mine was a positive experience and it really is all about your mindset. An 8 hour labour; thanks for the breathing tips and telling us to stick to what is working. The yoga classes really helped with pregnancy and birth........"
Beautiful sunrise and inspiration find the light and strength within
Being Pregnant - what a great way to discover the yoga journey - Shalika who gave birth to baby Ishika is a converted Yogi "I had a baby girl on bank holiday Monday in August, 3 days after our class. It all happened naturally and I didn't need to be induced, which was great. The only pain relief I had always has and air, the yoga breathing really helped me and I'm so glad I did the classes. Thank you so much - I'm definitely a converted yogi now :-)"
From Rohini: Thank you so much for all you have done for me through the yoga classes. I joined when I was 14 weeks and never done yoga before. And since then it has been the highlight of my week. The classes give me a chance to totally focus on myself and my baby and completely relax. I sleep so well after a class too. I am now almost 36 weeks and hoping to continue as long as I can. I believe that all the pregnancy issues I could have potentially suffered with were avoided as you focused the classes on specific issues people were having. I am also looking forward to joining the next birthing class with my husband.

Dear Ladies, Just o let you know there is a pregnancy yoga class in Bushey this evening, do come along
The breathing techniques and focus on the body were excellent and got me through labour. I would highly recommend this class during pregnancy as well as the labour class which are both really useful for a natural birthing experience and after.
Such a wonderful way to relax and connect with baby, I feel more prepared for the birth after each class x
One of the highlights of my week - such a welcoming class and so helpful and relaxing. I totally recommend!
Joined Ananti's classes when I was 15th weeks pregnant, they helped me to go through a healthy pregnancy and more importantly to prepared me for the labour and motherhood in general. Her breathing techniques were key for my natural labour and her advice for how to cope with pain were very useful. I would highly recommend to any future moms.
I'm 37 weeks pregnant and have done 3 courses and a breathing workshop with Ananti.
Following a tricky previous birth with my son I've found the classes have prepared me and comforted me for child birth again!
I love my Thursday evenings with Ananti and find a wonderful connection to my baby when I'm there.
I believe the classes have also eased off any back pain and heart burn!
I would highly recommend and I look forward to continuing with Mother and baby classes 🙏🏻
I joined Ananti's Yoga class quite early on in my pregnancy, it has really helped me feel calm and confident about birth. The labour class was excellent and now with only a few weeks to go, I feel as prepared as I can be for birth. Thank you Ananti for a wonderful, calming and relaxing yoga class
I highly recommend this class. I was left feeling refreshed and it eased the stiffness and aches as I grew bigger.
My partner and I also attended Ananti's labour class. The breathing techniques, use of sound and massage that we learned proved invaluable. I am pleased to say I had a quick, intervention free labour and delivery which I largely credit to this class.
I highly recommend Yummy yoga. I did both the pre and post natal yoga and loved it. Thank you guys x
I have only been to three classes so far and am approaching week 16 of my pregnancy. The classes truly help you unwind and connect with your baby. I feel so relaxed after my sessions with Ananti but also invigorated. She teaches some very deep stretches and because the classes are small is able to give you one to one attention. The whole point of these classes is to breath into the stretches and the tight muscles which is obviously a great tool for labour. I hope to learn a lot in the next few months. Thanks Ananti
Highly recommend Ananti’s yoga classes! Having never done yoga before I did a 6 week block course before my baby was due and thoroughly enjoyed it and always slept very well every Thursday!
Great way to relax during pregnancy & the breathing exercises really helped during labour. Thanks Ananti
Can't recommend these classes enough, just been to my last one at 38 weeks. Really going to miss it next week (managed 3x6 week sessions) met some lovely people, who I'm looking forward to catching up with once all our babies arrive x
Attending Ananti's yoga class was a wonderful experience. It really helped keep me mobile during later stage of pregnancy, and was a lovely calming experience every week. I particularly liked that she would adapt the classes to our needs depending on if we had specific complaints that week e.g. Back pain. I used the breathing techniques during labour and was able to deliver my beautiful girl with no other pain relief (other than water, as it was a water birth). I cannot recommend her classes highly enough
Ananti's yoga classes helped me so much on my journey to motherhood - kept me relaxed during my pregnancy and got me through a difficult undiagnosed breech delivery naturally with no pain relief, just my breathing. My husband and I attended Ananti's labour class together which helped him be an amazing birth partner for me, bringing me back to my body if I lost my way for a moment. Thank you Ananti, I couldn't have done it without you.
Ananti's pregnancy yoga class at Loudwater Farm is the highlight of my week! I always come away feeling better, both physically and mentally. It's also great to mix with other local mums-to-be and to benefit from Ananti's extensive knowledge of pregnancy and birth.
