Expect Sublime soundscapes, lush vocal harmonies and supreme musicianship from Top UK vocalist MISHKA ADAMS & songwriter, pianist, composer PETE CHURCHILL two of the UK's foremost jazz artists, songwriters & composers.
In this rare live collaboration performing songs from their acclaimed "Stories to Tell" Album. A Mesmerising collection of classic pieces reminiscent of the best work of James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, Carol King. We find a meeting of five diverse musical personalities all highly individual and yet able to blend as one.
Brought together by the songs of Pete Churchill, this group also includes the extraordinary Mark Lockheart, the beautiful voice of Mishka Adams, the exquisite guitar of Ben Barritt, and percussionist Adriano Adewale. Songs of loss and longing, of love, of hope and searching. This is about story telling - come, listen and be part of the journey.
Mishka Adams has shared the stage with Omar, Roy Ayers, Rober Glasper, Jackie Dankworth, performing throughout the UK at Ronnie Scott's Club to the Royal Albert Hall.
Pete Churchill has extensively performed & collaborated with Marc Murphy, Bobby Mcferrin, Cleo Laine, Abdullah Ibrahim, Norma Winstone, Jon Hendrix & Quincy Jones to name few. He has also received a parliamentary award for services to Jazz education and is considered one of the UK's top Jazz educators at the Royal Academy, Guildhall & Trinity music conservatoires.
