There’s only one way to finish your week! The same way you start it..... Zumbaaaaa. Let’s be having you, half term isn’t an excuse to stop, kids welcome if you need to bring them. 9.30am Woodrow High House 🤗

Zumba family! A phrase that is used on occasion. Like other phrases it goes unnoticed or just acknowledged as a turn of phrase.
In the last three weeks I have seen, felt and experienced what a “Zumba Family” is to its heart. ❤️
With the sad passing of our classmate and the shock that this sent through our classes, apart from the initial words of how lovely this lady was and what people would remember about her, which was wonderful to see and hear, the thing that has stuck ...with me and is evident today and each time we meet, is that we are more than just classes we ARE a Zumba Family!!
We see each other sometimes 3/4 or more times a week, we let loose, we smile we laugh, we talk about our problems we tell each other our worries, our news we support each other, we fund raise together we chat, make friends we don’t judge and combined we are a crowd of all different ages, stages, sizes and abilities none of which matter to anyone else within that group, we just get on and have each other’s backs!
The support shown to each other during the last few weeks has been evident and on a personal note I couldn’t have asked for more. Even if it was a touch on the arm or a smile during a sad moment, a laugh at something right to getting up there beside me and dancing alongside me, just because you could see it would help.
I thank everyone of you! For that and for our ever growing Zumba Family! I wouldn’t live without it and I know many of you feel the same. 🤗
Here’s to many more years of being part of this amazing group of people and getting to know many more along the way!
Zumba Family exists and is there for anyone who needs it! 🥰

For those of you who need it, some more information for Marilyn’s funeral.
Service to be held at Amersham Crematorium Whielden Lane,... Amersham HP7 0ND.
The service is at 3.15pm, casual but bright clothing. As many of you know we will be dancing for Marilyn at the service to Proud Mary! Her favourite track. You of course are welcome to join in but there is no pressure to do so either. 🤗. The family have asked that if you are able, you go straight to the Potters arms (Winchmore Hill)afterward and they will follow on shortly.
If you wish to make a donation of any kind then the Child Bereavment Society is the chosen charity.

Ladies and gentlemen. As most of you are aware we lost a member of our Zumba family last week, the lovely Marilyn Morrison.
Just to let you all know her funeral service is to be held this coming Friday at Amersham Crematorium at 3.15pm then afterwards at The Potters Arms Winchmore Hill.
The family have said where possible this will be bright colours and a celebration of Marilyn, and to that end have asked if I would Zumba with them at the service.

It is with great shock and sadness that i need to inform you of the untimely passing of one of our good friends and classmates. The lovely Marilyn Morrison.
Marilyn sadly passed away on Sunday at her home.
... I will of course keep you updated on details of her funeral, once anything is arranged but the family are waiting for causes to be found.
I cannot tell you how much she loved Zumba and Strong by Zumba. She is missed greatly and today and this week we dance for her. Even if it with great sadness.
