Another day sorting Halloween out . Started to get scars,blood and special effect scars out. Blood galore , face paint etc. So much preparation. We love this time of year and do our customers . 👻👻👻 Today we started a mammoth task. Halloween, yes happy to say it’s that time of year again . Costumes should be out (hopefully) by the end of the week. It certainly is a mighty job!! Once costumes and prosthetics etc are out, we will then sort out decorations... exciting!!!! 👻👻👻

Been out and judged the sponsored toddle for St Teresa’s . We were asked to judge the best dressed children x2 . We found this difficult as there were so many lovely costumes to choose from. To us everybody was a winner . The event was at the South Park . Thankyou for asking us St Teresa’s .

Busy little week sorting out in the shop, slow progress on Halloween stock. Lots on stock just trying to find the time to get it out. Busy weekend ahead not unusual really. This weekend we are supporting St Teresa’s with their sponsored Toddle . Yesterday we did the big arch for the gym changing name . Good luck to both toddle and new gym .

Not shop related but on Tuesday Morning tickets for the brilliant tv psychic medium TJ Higgs will be on sale from the shop. Not to be missed, a chance to see this lady work and hopefully you may receive a message from one of your loved ones. The evening demonstration at The Freemasons Hall . Darlington. 13th October . We had a busy week last week. We had 3 weddings on Saturday but had to do chaircovers and sashes for one of them the night before. Then a full set up in DSRM and a wedding with a difference at Firthmoor Community Centre. Lots of interest in the gold and black columns with the numbers on top. All in a weeks work. A busy one this week but fingers crossed not as busy as last Saturday ( so far) .

Been a long day, finally finished at 12.30 am. Wedding from earlier we had to go and collect chaircovers etc in . Nice little tipple before bed.

Went in today very nice little shop everything you can think of is in thier that you need for parties or fancy dress the staff were really freindly and polite wish id known sooner about this place

Used 1st Stop Party Shop several times over the past few years & I really can't fault them. I have had birthday balloons for my twin grandchildren & most recently a selection of balloons for my daughter's Hen Weekend.

Everyone in the shop is very efficient & friendly but special praise must be given to Rachel, she takes great pride in the displays that she makes & always makes sure she herself is completely happy with them before she lets them leave the shop. Can't recommend them enough!

So helpful today while I was being a fussy customer and kept changing my mind on things. Will definitely be back.

Lovely balloons for a baby shower. My mum was collecting, the gas canister broke and they needed to fit a new one, Mum was waiting a while. But she said the staff were super friendly, helpful and apologetic - and threw an extra balloon in for free. Would definitely use again!

Life savers I have been shopping about for car ribbon � for my wedding cars and was quoted £15.00 went into 1st stop party shop and only paid £2.75 for 3 bows and a huge amount of ribbon � thank you so much very happy customer �

I popped into the shop yesterday to get a last minute balloon for my granddaughter’s 7th birthday. Not only was I over the moon with the gorgeous decorated 7 balloon that was produced in no time at all, but the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful.

Thank you to all the team for making me a very happy shopper, and I will be back.

Have used the the party shop many times & wont use anyone else. Best balloons & service by far. Got balloons & a banner for a engagement party this weekend & again they were excellent really made the room. Thanks again��

Fantastic service. Phoned at 11am about getting a number ballon and also some I had brought myself filled as well. By 12.30 when I went to the shop, the ballon I wanted was ready and the staff filled and decorated the balloons I had brought with me. Friendly helpful staff and very reasonable prices. I will be using this shop again and highly recommend them.

Called at One Stop today for a unicorn balloon for our grandaughter's 7th birthday. Nothing was too much trouble the girl's were really lovely n Nigel was a star!.Can't recommend them enough well done all. Will defo be back

Been getting my balloons from here for years and they are always fantastic. Carol and the team went above and beyond this time to try and source the rare balloons my daughter wanted. In the end I had one very happy little girl. thank you very much �
