Production Operatives for a busy Automotive factory in Peterlee.
Must have recent production experience, ideally in the automotive industry.
... You will be employed on a temporary rolling contract with no end date and paid between £8.21 (days) and £11.08 - £11.62 per hour depending on shift (12hr shifts days and nights)
Maths & English assessments followed by a dexterity test will be held with the employer tomorrow the 21st June 19.
If successful you will be invited in for training with the employer.
As a requirement you would need to complete a client specific course from 24th June 19 for 5 days, in this time you will gain a manufacturing qualification and a final interview.

*** Bench Worker/Picker/Packer/driver - Peterlee*** ***30 hrs per week, 6 hrs per day, 5 days per week.*** ***Working night shift - midnight to 6am***
A local employer is looking to hire someone who is versatile, flexible and enjoys carrying out a variety of roles in their job. They are interested in someone who is driven and thrives in an environment which requires them to adapt and overcome challenges in a dynamic, fast-paced workplace. The job requires somebody who is phys...ically fit, self-motivated and can work well both alone and in a team.
Roles include:
MAIN DUTIES – Bench worker/picker/packer (30hrs per week) - Picking and packing fruit and vegetables to be boxed ready for delivery – this requires a keen eye for quality-control and making sure that orders are filled fully and to a great standard for our customers. - Preparing and processing vegetables ready for our customers to cook or eat. This again requires a sharp eye for quality and ensuring that only the best food is delivered to our customers. Many types of machinery and preparation-techniques will be used, so close attention to health & safety regulations and good hygiene practices should be employed during a processing role. You will often be required to fulfil orders by customers and begin anticipating what may be ordered later and prepare accordingly with experience. As this is a wet area, PPE will be provided for this role.
12 WEEKS OF THE YEAR COVERING DRIVERS (45hrs per week) - Delivering goods in a van to our many customers around the North East – generally on a set route with the aid of a Sat Nav. This requires someone who is physically fit and able to load the van themselves – as this can require some heavy-lifting, such as when loading sacks of potatoes. You should also be capable of planning ahead when loading the van so you can complete your route in an efficient manner – this will save you a lot of time and energy in the role. You will also be required to sometimes cover staff holidays and sickness, meaning flexibility it a must in this line of work.
