To support and encourage the health, wellbeing and prosperity of all those living in French speaking African and wider African communities of Sunderland through our own efforts and in collaboration with other BAME groups within the City.

To encourage, maintain and develop the expression of Africa’s history and artistic culture through all media and mediums, including Singing, Poetry, Drumming, Music and Dance, and to actively promote and train the young people of the community in all aspects of African culture so allowing them to express their African identity, culture and history through African Arts.

To create projects and opportunities that Safeguard Vulnerable Children and Adults in the African Community and minimises the drivers for economic migration and its impact on the health and wellbeing of young people currently or previously in transit, as migrants, or living in the City of Sunderland and the North East.

To openly celebrate, promote and support the concepts of Equality, Diversity, Creativity and Innovation within the City of Sunderland.

To maintain, develop and promote the appreciation, in both ethnic and non-ethnic communities, of the culture, art, music and history of the French speaking people of Africa.

To proactively address the challenges faced currently and previously by the French speaking African Communities living in the UK and, specifically, the City of Sunderland.

To encourage and promote the design & promotion of African Art by members of the community and create opportunities to support the prosperity of artists within the community both within and outside of the North East.

To actively seek funding and sustainable sources of income to maintain and further develop the impact of our activities and projects both within the Region as well as Nationally and Internationally.
