Went on Friday 5th January... Food was outstanding... and staff were very attentive... Would highly recommend :-)

Went here last night for a meal with my partner and I have to say the food was gorgeous, surroundings lovely and the service was fantastic, would definitely go back here

Went for family meal thurs large party 1 of best indians ever had looked after by staff and owner couldnt have been more helpful complimentary starters and sides too ��will def be using for sit down and takeaway from nw on. By far best in Darlington. Had to have a delivery last night jus to make sure lol and recomended to a few friends to eat in last night who wer also very impressed ��

Went for a meal with friends last night and it was excellent as always. Portions were large without being something from a cartoon, the food was incredible and the staff were friendly as usual.

We ordered a takeaway from here tonight and we will definitely be returning! Food very fresh, full of flavour and wasn't too heavy. I would personally recommend the madras and the Dahl. Can't wait to go back and try different things on the menu!

Was there New year eve had booked for 730 service chaotic but staff great half an hour before order was taken waited another half an hour before starter and same for main course well worth the wait excellent food would definitely recommend

This our local Indian for both sit down and take out. Never had a bad meal the food is alway fantastic. The restaurant staff are superb always polite and very family friendly making you feel very welcome. As we have used this place for so many years and can say it is one of the best Indian restaurants in the town.

Lovely place went on a Friday night straight from work been wanting to try for a while. The decor is beautiful, service great and food fantastic. Received poppadums as complimentry and a side dish of spicy mushrooms. The curry was really tasty and served quickly. Highly recommended will be going again thank you Akbar The Great �

Great food overall but service was appalling for take-away option. Delivery driver didn't even get out of the car, just opened the door and expected us to come and collect it from him. An hour trying to order for the website due to glitches - definitely needs fixing.

Beautifully clean restaurant. The staff are always helpful cheery and polite and the Food is delicious. Would definitely recommend

Ate there for the second time last night. Food was excellent again! I find the menu a little more varied than a lot of the others in the town. A full selection of the dishes you would expect to find but also a wide and interesting selection of special dishes. Food is clearly cooked to order and due to the length of food preparation time we were all given complimentary starters. Excellent service and delicious food, thanks for looking after us so well!!

Amazing food and service staff couldn't do enough for us and made our mums group out outstanding we will be back as soon as we can thank you 😊

Akbar have pulled off a curry club banquet for 52 of my cssc club members last night I must say you done a sterling job excellent customer service most accommodating for such a large party wanting to sit in multiple size groups. Food excellent great choice or starters, sides, curry and perfect best ever naan breads. We'll certainly be back Thankyou again
