Please see following a Message from Colin Wilson, son of the late Robin Wilson who was an active member and committee member of our club for lot of years. Sadly Robin passed away 10 years ago with Motor Neuron Disease:
I am not sure how many of you will remember my Dad - Robin Wilson. Father to my 4 brothers Kevin Wilson Roy Wilson Paul Wilson and John Wilson. Later this year it will be the 10th Anniversary of his passing. We all played rugby for Alnwick at some point and I... am attempting the 100 mile Ride London cycle ride on the 29th July this year. I am trying to raise as much awareness and funds for Motor Neuron Disease Association. I will be attempting to do the ride in under 6 hours. Played for the club when it was formed in the 1960's as a schoolboy at the Duke's Grammar School. Can't get onto the website, it keeps coming up with some Health and Fitness site. Anybody out there from those early days?

Perfect venue yesterday! Staff couldn’t be more helpful and room hire and bar prices very reasonable.

Would definitely book for a function again!
