Not long to go until @veganfestivaluk Newcastle Vegan Festival this Sunday the 1st of July at The Assembly Rooms in Newcastle City Centre (just around the corner from The Central Station). The fair is on from 10.30am-4.30pm with entry costing just £2 in advance or £3 on the door for adults and £1 for children. There will be plenty going on throughout the day including free samples, discounts, food tasting, vegan food stalls including chocolate, cheese, cakes, takeaway food, a...nimal sanctuaries, clothing and so much more. This shop is such a gem. We travelled down from Haddington in Scotland a few months ago and returned today to grab some goodies. Having been a vegan for 34 years it's a delight to go into a shop and not have to check the labels at all. A cornucopia of delights! Such a wide variety of stock, fairly priced and excellent, friendly service. We were also given some tips on where to eat locally with omnis, kids and our dog Gulliver. Thank you and we'll be back.
